Background: James grew up the son of a war general, he lived with his mother towards the inner circle of the great white city of Falador. He never got to see his father much do to his fathers war efforts taking up most of his time. His father wanted him to grow up to eventually take his place as a war general. Thus he trained him to fight, to plan, and to give men courage when leading them into battle.
A war had ended up brewing between Falador and a kingdom from the far south across the sea when James was 12. This in turn cause the city to become under siege. James's father lead James and his mother to safety but he had died in the battle. Falador has one in the end but James was still lost after his fathers death. At the age of becoming a man, he was asked to join the ranks of the royal army and live up to his fathers wishes.
James excepted, and for many years James trained and moved through the ranks, he was going to become the war general in his future. Until he met this man named Arther.
Arther was an old man pushing about his late 50s early 60s. Although the cities people new him as only The Watcher.
The Watcher was given to this man due to his ability to watch without anyone noticing, he had fought in almost every war that came to Falador for the past 40 odd years, yet he never joined any military. He taught James that ranks are a waist and James should proceed a life as a watcher. Thus, James retired his rank...
