In the early hours of the morn, as per usual schedule, a manservant opened the curtains in the Rector's room. His job was to wake the man, the leader of the Church, Saradomin's voice on Gielinor, each morning, and bring him his food.

As the Rector's health deteriorated over the past few weeks, bringing his food had lead to feeding him, too, some mornings. As the manservant was setting things up, he noticed that the light did not cause the elderly man to stir. The room itself was quite warm, heated by a nearby fire place which had been watched by on of the Guards, but when the man placed the back of his hand against the Rector's cheek, he felt nothing but cold.

The bells tolled solemnly and sad that morning, and throughout Gielinor in all of Saradomin's Churches as word spread. His Holiness had passed on, to join Saradomin's Icyene in New Domina.

When news reached the ears of the Vice-Chancellor, Cesare Sforza, he called for an immediate meeting of the Synod - of all the Bishops of the World. The time to find a new Rector had come; the time to hear Saradomin's Will and anoint their new leader.

Quick question; What is the church's stance on Guthixianism as a whole? There is a reason, but I'm not going to fill in that reason because A. I'd rather it be a surprise and B. You can easily figure it out if you read the forums.

Godless-movement Guthixian: Evil, need to be burned at the stake and die. How dare you defy Divine Authority. Zamorakians are better than you, at least they understand the Divine Right to rule of Gods. They just picked the wrong guy.

Druidist sect: You guys are wrong, you should worship Saradomin, damn Pagans. But I guess you're alright, just don't defy Saradomin and you're okay.

Tell us a bit about your character: Orion is one of the long lost descendants of Arn Helios (see below). The Helios lineage originates from the 3rd age, of the time of the God Wars. Along with several others, Orion was frozen away in the GWD in an icy slumber. Upon the discovery of the GWD in the late Fifth age, he and several other members of the Helios lineage set off to the mainlands to inquire information of Saradomin's influence. He is a stalwart man, retaining very little "flavor" or "character". Along with the rest of his lineage, he retains blonde hair and blue eyes. His regalia belongs to the ancient Saradominist army, and he retains a number of volatile tools to enforce the God of Order & Wisdom's will.

Tell us a bit about your character: Arn Helios is a Paladin that once led the sanctimonious forces of New Haven along side White Knight commander Tiberious Elysian. For a period of time they enforced Holy Martial Law over the city of Falador in hopes of turning its pestilous inhabitants away. After failing to do so, the Sanctuary of New Haven was abandoned and it's keepers set off to explore their own self-indulged missions. Since then, Arn has roamed the lands of Gielinor in spite of failing his sacrilegious mission. Upon Saradomin's return, he has been tasked by the God's highest military leaders to uphold His will where it is needed. After receiving a breach of contact from long lost relatives from the 3rd age, he has equipped some of the most lethal and ancient equipment in order to aid him in doing so. After receiving a most honorable blessing, the man reeks of Holy Prowess. Even a bright white hue of holy light covers his eyes. This allows him to seek out even the most scandalous of heretical beings.
