Ah, I see. This dissapoints me so, but I must of course understand that it was taken with the wellbeing of all Saradominists in mind.

I must however bring to your attention that it will be not within my power to grant you government resources without the full body of the Church being centred within this fair Kingdom, and that you will also be subject to our Religous Laws.

With the icy wind nipping at the faces and tearing at the heaviest clothing of all the citizens of Varrock who had come to hear the words from the Crown, Queen Elrina stepped out into view, her green eyes steadily looking over the said crowd.


"Let me preface by saying that the action that is being taken now is not an Inquisition against the Saradominst populace within Misthalin. Never in my life have did I think an organized religious group that claims to be as good and pure as the clergy of Saradomin would ever be capable of making such dire and petty threats against Misthalin's people. I am here to tell the world the truth of the events that have transpired to lead us to this situation so that any decision made can be an informed one.

Grand Duke Lothar Cross was branded a heretic against the Saradominst Church and was thereby declared their enemy. I am sure you all have heard the news of his untimely death. Archbishop Armond questioned the circumstances of his death and returned from Camelot's gala with me to question my mother regarding the incident.

Upon finding her guiltless, he demanded to see Cross's body. And when he did, he closed himself in the room and stole the former Grand Duke's body by means of teleportation. My sister, Crown Princess and interim Duchess of Lumbridge Lunina Lansing, and I entered the room and demanded he cease. He did not.

When we attempted an arrest, he resisted and attacked us both. Eventually we subdued him and placed him in a cell. His portal remained open and a representative of the Saradominst church entered, demanding we release Archbishop Armond to him, or the Salve Barrier would be dispatched of."


Elrina paused to let the shocked, outraged and cries of disbelief echo through the crowd before continuing.

"If any of you are wondering, stealing is a crime. Resisting arrest is a crime. Attacking a queen and the Crown Princess is a crime. Threatening another invasion from the Vampyres of the east is a crime and a threat not only against me and my relatives, but you and all of the citizens that call Gielinor their home. Crimes like these are punishable by death and that is exactly what happened to Archbishop Armond.

I must say again that my qualms are not with Saradominism as a whole, but only against those who use it as justification to threaten and attempt to kill anyone that does not share their same view. So I urge you, people of Varrock, Misthalin, any kingdom or village large or small, and Gielinor as a whole to think of who you are and what you believe in before you pick up your blade with intent to kill because of a church's wounded pride that the law of Misthalin and the protection of her people are more important than showing special treatment. Thank you."


And with that, Elrina returned to the castle.

I. On the subject of: Lothar Cross
With due respect to the circumstances of his life, and death, we have decided to extend the sacrament of the Partition of Purity and Sin to the excommunicate that was Lothar Cross.
The man he died was not the man he was - for this reason, the demon which shadowed him shall, with the permission of the Lord, be cast to Infernus, and his purified soul shall attain the enlightenment of New Domina.
With due regard to this, Lothar's body, in our possession to keep it safe from those who would defile it further, is to be returned to his family; to his son, Darius, and his wife, Veronica, and shall be buried with all of the rights owed to a man of his previous stature.

II. On the subject of: The Lansing & Misthalite Interdict
With respect to the amended (Mk II) Interdict, we formally repeal the ban on Church functions with regards to the following:
The Misthalite people, save the Royal Family, for those pious have stood with us in this time of turmoil despite being punished for the actions of a tyrant dynasty. We pray for all of their souls, and the souls of those who died recently defending their Church.

The children of Ace and Kylara Lansing, for their blood is pure and their parents' intentions good.

III. On the subject of: The Holy Crusade Against the Menaphites
It is unfortunate that this Crusade has been delayed by the actions of Misthalin. It is requested, however, that all involved muster along the Falador - Sarim - Draynor border, in ready-made camps. When all is prepared, ships will take the Crusaders nearer to their destination.

IV. On the subject of: The Attempted Regicide of Iliara of Ardougne
This act of hostility by the unaforementioned Lansings through the actions of Caidwyn Lansing against Her Most Holy Majesty, Queen Iliara I of Ardougne, is a most grievous crime and atrocity. In relation to this, Ardougne has severed all ties with Misthalin and has urged others to do so.

In these dark times of desperation, we rally together with our pious Saradominist brethren, and we call upon all of the righteous in the world to cease, immediately, all economic actions with the Kingdom of Misthalin. We urge for all guilds and tradesmen within Misthalin to withhold taxation. We urge every man, woman and child to aid the financial starvation of the Lansing tyrant.

This family, long held in high regard, has brought shame upon itself through the actions of the few. Do not forget the legacy of Queen Katrina; and do not spite the family of her daughter, Kylara, and spouse Ace, or the Elysian branch. However, until such a time as there is compensation and repentance for their acts of hellish sin, we, as a people - the faithful of Saradomin, must do all in our power to bring them to their knees.

For a better world; for an enlightened world; demand the surrender of Lansing oppression.

Edict VI:In Light of murder of Archbishop Armond
This Edict is a private Church document, unless most of its predecessors.

In light of the murder of Archbishop Armond Aberdire, we are compelled to restructure our Sees appropriately. We shall also address other matters.


I. On the subject of: The Archdiocese of Misthalin

In light of the murder of Archbishop Armond, we transfer Archbishop Cesare, Bishop of Ardougne, to the See of Varrock. He shall administer there as Archbishop of Misthalin, Bishop of Varrock, as his services are needed there most.

II. On the subject of: The Archdiocese of Kandarin

In light of the transfer of Archbishop Cesare, we announce the ascension of Bishop Anita and the Diocese of Camelot to Archiepiscopal status. Anita Vansalder shall administer Kandarin in her capacity of Archbishop of Kandarin from the See of Camelot.

III. On the subject of: The Diocese of Lumbridge

Due to the need for a strong Inquisitor presence east of the Lum, we place Grand Inquisitor Tolatsson as Bishop of Lumbridge. There he shall administer the Diocese of Lumbridge and serve as Grand Inquisitor. He is also raised to the status of Cardinal Ecclesiarch, in lieu with his post of Grand Inquisitor.

IV. On the subject of: The Diocese of Ardougne

With the transfer of Archbishop Cesare to Misthalin and Bishop Tolatsson to Lumbridge, we announce the transfer of Bishop Arys to the See of Ardougne. There he shall administer as Bishop and continue his duties of Grand Master & Patron of the Military and Hospitaller Order of the Monastic Knights of St. Gregory.

V. On the subject of: An Extension of Martyrdom

The murder of Archbishop Armond, Father Aberdire, Father Murphy and several pious civilians and worshippers of Saradomin is a most grievous sin. These men all died for their Faith, for the God and for their Church. In lieu of this, we declare them all Martyrs.

As consequence, we declare them absolved of all sin. Let them reside eternal in New Domina.

After commune with the Lord Saradomin, we see it fit and just and right to extend the blessing of Beatification to Archbishop Armond and Fathers Aberdire and Murphy.
