As the moon blocked out the sun and the sky shifted from a rich blue to a dull purple, Mudbrain, a chieftain in the Saragorgak tribe, formed a small group of shamans to travel to the ritual cave; their mission? To perform a sacred ritual to appease Bandos and save Garagorsh-Kaan from his Holy Wrath. They traveled to the Gateway; a captured dwarven minecart station separating the East and the West, which they would have to travel through in order to get to Trollheim wherein the ritual cave is located. The Black Guard had launched a counterattack upon the station, as it was an important trading hub and supply depot, and Mudbrain's warband offered their support to recapture the tunnel. After a skirmish that lasted hours, and thanks to the efforts of Wenkaurg and Pinkhead, the Bandosian forces regained control. Buying Plant Feed

An age and many years ago, a might Ourg was awoken from his cryogenic slumber within the Temple of Lost Ancients, after spending a millenia locked within magical ice. He summoned his forces and escaped the thawing murderhole, crusanding his way across the barren cliffs of Trollheim. Eventually he came across the greenskin war-camp named Bandos-Kaan, otherwise known as goblin village- It was here he learned of the events which took place in his absence. Gorbuk proclaimed himself Chosen Commander; and those who would not obey were declared foe. Soon, Northern Asgarnia and Trollweiss fell to the newly formed Chosen Battalion, and Gorbuk's army became the most feared and respected warband since the end of the Third Age, and the first permanent Bandosian settlements were founded.

But all was not well within the Battalion's ranks. Numerous rebellions saw Gorbuk at war with his own people, the return and fall of Bandos shook him to his core, a sizable portion of the Battalion were already defecting to Tuska and so he retreated into his Great Hall. The great stone doors shut, and the Ourg was forgotten. Despite this, his legacy remained in tact. Numerious Chosen Commanders rose to fill the power void, turning their focus upon the human lands. The empire expanded, but as it grew it became more of a challenge to govern. After the province of Garagorsh-Kaan was claimed, the empire split in half; separating into into Ekeles- East, and Rekes- West. These days, Chosen Commander is a ceremonial role, the true power split divided between the two halves.

But tensions are rising- a war is brewing; a war that promises no victor. The east and the west jostle and skirmish over the boundaries of their own empire. A war is brewing, indeed: a war that could end the Chosen Battalion for good. Buying Plant Feed

This role-play continues the story of the Chosen Battalion, a massive coalition of Bandosian tribes established during the latter years of the Fifth age, based upon the foundations set by Hopespear's Chosen Commander prophecy. With Zanik's betrayal, the Ourg Gorbuk saw the rank as open to be claimed, and claim it he did- smiting anyone who would dare stand in his path. During it's early years, the Battalion grew exponentially, attracting members from a wide range of Races; both Yu'biuskian and not. To civilisation, the Battalion is a zealous horde of warmongering brutes which flits in and out of the political limelight with each Chosen Commander elected. This iteration of the Battalion's story will be told from the perspective of the Saragorgak Tribe, renowned throughout for it's zealous warriors and inquisitive shamans.
