Under orders from the viscount, the crystal plate armour that had been unique in the usage of the Telemmaitë was almost entirely confiscated overnight. The viscount claimed it had been deemed unsafe for reasons he would not speak of.
While paranoia may have been one factor in the confiscation of this armour from the guard and military, another more likely reason was the notable decline in available crystal that the Telemmaitë could use. The armour has thus far been stored up, and several crystal singers are currently singing much of the equipment into a much more basic form to be used for other tasks.
In its replacement; more chainmail and metal plate armour is being produced and imported in from the rest of the kingdom.
