After a brief meeting near the base of Eagles' Peak on the opposite side of the settlement under construction, Captain Camthalion and the representatives from Kandarin- Countess Tailynn of Baxtorian, Quarion of Kandarin and Xel of Catherby- reached an agreement. The elves will begin to demilitarize their settlement as construction continues, and the usual taxes will be instated on trade; though, the elves are squirmy, to say the least, on the rates. An overseer will soon enough arrive to inspect the settlement and things will go on as planned.

A scouting party of a dozen troops was dispatched to an old site of Guthixian ruins; a days' worth of travel to the north-west of base camp. The trip was fairly uneventful; save for an encounter with a kebbit by one of the more aggressive party members. However, the events that unfolded in the ruins are not spoken of lightly. The troops returned to Officer Camthalion the next morning. The report has been redacted for fear of causing hysteria amongst the troops; however, claims that the ruins were haunted, and yet also manifested by fallen members of the Amddiffynnwr Uchel- including Nolfinwë himself- have been circulating.

In its place, more scouts were dispatched to patrol the area around the ruins, watching, and remaining vigilant.

Under orders by Officer Camthalion, a team was dispatched to Eagles Peak- though, instead of climbing the normal route, they were instructed to take the long way all around the peak. They would slowly make their way there, over the course of three days- the team eventually making a short-lived camp at the base of the peak, on the other side of the colony.

When a reinforcing unit comprising an experienced Amlodd Summoner arrives, the journey will continue towards the peak.
