The Great Houses of Vampyric society have gone the way of the horses. The remnants of the these bloodlines remain scattered throughout the dreadful marshes of Morytania. Forgotten, Forsaken and awaiting the day when they shall stiffen to stone where they slumber or to find an end to their immortal coil one way or another. Time had made fools of each great manse who had once believed their grey cities, their hardened militias, their immortalized patriarchs and matriarchs would be left standing when the sun finally shines through the looming fog. Time had done to these great covens what it eventually does to all things. Dissolved them into history, just as it had done to gods. But time had not yet silenced all of the giant bats. A youth, at least in comparison to those he had grown up around, has awoken in the cobweb-laden crypt of his home. Vampyres of ancient names once more stalk the Myre. One of the name Skalov, blooded by the old Foryx. A Vyrelord in his own right, seeking to bring life back to this gods-forsaken marsh. Life that would, as once in ages past, know and fear the dominion of a new Great House forged from the ashes of its parent covens in the mind of a new face with an old name.
Kalerith Skalov.
Who knows? Miracles happen. I am yet to think of any plots; I see no point in drafting a storyline for myself alone to read. I figured that some of us may miss the gloomy days and frightening nights in the old swamp. Think of this as a gofundme for Mortanian rp. Maybe, with a little elbow grease and cleaning off a couple inches of dust from the old vampyric lorebooks, we can Make Morytania Great Again.

I miss Morytania RP too. Ngl, after I start my job, that kicking back up could be something that brings me back. My old Vyrelord, Oliver Foryx, is still alive.

I'm interested. One of the first RP groups I joined, the Order of Light/Army of Ivandis fought the Foryx back in the day so I have some pretty fond memories of Morytania RP

That was a fun campaign. I would look forward to Mory rp returning

I missed it too. That is why I am here. But I need you all in on this with me, all hands on deck. I may have returned Envy from a magic induced coma, but we speak of raising the dead with this project. If this is to be more than just a trip back to the good old days, I need to reach out to You, my friends made throughout the ages to once more unite. If not under one banner, under one movement, and to help me restore Morytania to its foothold in life and activity. Conversations must be held, plans must be made and the Word must be spread. Growth is not made by the empowered old, but always by a new generation.
Please, my dear old friends, enemies. My long-lost brothers and sisters in blood, help me. Help me to bring in what remains of the roleplaying community. Rein in a new generation to remember the old and put Morytania back in its throne as an rp hub!

This server needs more K9.

If I can get enough support from the community, I will think up an event. If you are actually interested in trying to bring back Morytanian rp, please post "Make Morytania Great Again" in this thread. In doing so, I will call upon you for an event to set things off. Production and writing of Kalerith's summons will begin if and when I can get at least six others in support of the idea.

also 7 people might be too much to expect for an initial event. maybe I was just doing it wrong, but my events almost never saw more than 3 players (myself included) in attendance
WE'll do 4 total. You're right, I am perhaps a bit too optimistic. But I am trying to rekindle ashes. It takes two to tango, but three to make a group.
