A devious grin crawled across the cloaked man's face like a swarm of Kharidian locusts. He sat in a towering leather chair, in front of a desk carved out of solid basalt. The entire space resembled the office of your average military general, aside from the complete lack of paperwork on the desk and the two, large floes of descending magma that were a hundred or so yards behind the glass wall behind him. I guess you could say it was natural lighting. The man's right pointer finger rested atop the glowing cube-shaped crystal that was set on the desk in front of him. His eyes were illuminated with a soft white glow that mirrored the glow the crystal gave off. It acted as his own personal commorb, which he could use to see through the eyes of any of his creations. What he had been hoping to see was clearly in view. The first complete Sentinel. His grin widened into a mischievious, toothy smile. Excellent. Everything is proceeding as planned.
