Hello, so to try and keep this relatively short(ish), but honestly it’s a hard topic to keep short, but I’ll try.

I would appreciate it; if only for the sake of Twillow not getting a headache, that this is kept civil, so please don’t just shit post.

So what am I talking about when I say “Neutrality never existed”? Well, it’s exactly that. It doesn’t exist, even if you try to remain so. Everybody has their bias depending on who you talk to and I’ve talked to many for years and in all cases, OOC especially, there has always been some form of conflict to groups I’ve been in.

I always tried to have pride in staying neutral, but recently I had an… “epiphany”, if you will.

I AM biased. I won’t name-drop, but there are people I like, some I don’t, but that probably stems from generalizations that are given to specific people which can be perceived by certain people as being either accurate or just plain slander.

There are many issues that come from the idea that you think you’re neutral and having thought that I was, I realized that I was segregating myself from many different roleplay groups, regardless as to which they may be. I isolated myself.

So why not join multiple groups? That’s sort of the issue. Most roleplay delves into the idea of conflict between groups, which frankly I am not a fan of, considering that I prefer deeper, long-winded roleplays that don’t lean on combat between people, story preference over cat-fighting with OOC problems.

I think there are other people who’re in this situation; they don’t roleplay with other groups because they’ll be lumped in or shamed by others due to being associated with a conflicting group. That is not an arguable point, it’s a fact. I’m not going to pretend that it is a point that can be argued, despite wishing that wasn’t the case.

Ultimately, besides the initial topic’s direction, I will just see how it goes with other groups and see if rumours are true or not. If you want to judge me for that, then I’m sorry to disappoint you, but finding groups or people to roleplay with is getting difficult as time passes and people leave and frankly I can’t afford to be picky anymore because of my IRL stuff.

I know this whole thing has been more of a… statement I guess? But I think you understand that I don’t want judgement cast upon myself because I roleplay with different people who may not be in your favour, who may or may not be the hot topic on another group, etc. So please try to understand I’m not roleplaying with specific groups of people because I am somehow, indirectly betraying anyone, especially my closer friends. All I want to do is just goddamn roleplay.

Feel free to make comments, but I will at least do a hypothetical taste-test to see whether or not a specific group fits my taste, just please don’t start mocking me or bickering to save myself (And likely Twillow) a headache over a fairly forgetful thread (at least for the most part).

Too often we realize too late that we can just RP with whoever we want. In your case you've realized on the ass-end of W42's lifespan. Even if one chooses to RP with degenerate pedophiles, so long as one isn't outwardly a piece of garbage, nobody is going to stop you from doing one thing or another.
