The final event is tonight! It all comes down to this, guys. I'd like to note that we'll need more than a couple of people to show up, or else the event will be canceled. Either way, the plot ends tonight.
We'll be fighting on Skyreach (the Empyrean Citadel), which unfortunately means you need to complete Missing, Presumed Death to participate. That's a pretty low leveled quest though so it shouldn't be a problem. The reinforcements will be arriving on the south side, and engaging the attackers to the north. If the attackers aren't defeated within a certain amount of time (should I disclose the time beforehand? I think it should be a surprise) they will break into the central chamber, where the last of the Guardians are protecting the Divine Focus.
I'm considering using a respawn system with tiers of character strength, but ultimately I think I'll keep things simple for tonight. Play a balanced character and sit out when you are defeated and this should be a lot of fun.
The event was cancelled tonight due to no one attending. The plot will end as promised, I'll write a detail below. I'm tempted to be bitter here, but that would probably be a waste of time. It is just pretty disappointing when nobody shows up, you know? I'd like to urge everyone to try out different people's events and not just stick with the people they know. Thanks to the asgarnia admins for caring enough to at least list my event with the others.
The Guardians never received their reinforcements. The Zamorakians broke into the central chamber, killing all that was left of the Order. The Focus was taken into the care of the ice demon Syfer, while the treasure was split evenly amongst the rest of those assembled. Syfer has transformed Skyreach into an icy stronghold, plotting to finish charging the weapon and wreak havoc.
Also a special thanks to GondrakGales and Blox for showing up to at least one of the previous events. I'm glad you guys got to enjoy the story with me.
