A small raider party was dispatched into the outskirts of forinthry to search for minerals to have slaves mine for use later.

Several warning shots were fired down towards the raiding party from the manned defenses to remind them which side of the border to stay on.

The raid group held presented shields in turtle formation, and pressed along their path into the wasteland. Infantry units would have to be dispatched to halt them, and of course roleplayed ingame.

The commander of the nearest border tower frowned impatiently then shrugged and had the motars fire just ahead of the goblins position. They would have to announce on the forums that they were turning back or be destroyed completely.

You must of missed the 'roleplayed out ingame' part, son

I don't quite see the point in rping out what has been described so far. If we do ever get to the point where it would make sense then rest assured I will RP in game.

In the meantime however I suspect that doing so would only encourage you into fighting a ground battle that totally ignores your currently predicament (therefore massively improving your chances by changing the scenario).

Please respond to the actions that have been stated and then we can discuss in-game RP if necessary.

P.S. I didn't miss it last time, it just so happens that I don't take orders from you.

As the mortars distant booms echoed through the wasteland, the small raider squad was alerted of the danger. The shaman sent with them began chanting, conjuring up a large cloud of fog to fill the area as the Goblins scattered out, coated themselves in ash amidst the fog, and hunkered down. Due to the inaccuracyof mortars against small groups or individual targets, zero losses were taken. And now with a large cloud of fog, and ash covered flesh and armor, attempting a ranged strike on these Goblins would be impossible.

Unfortunately the goblins were not the only group with a mage. The Union mages waited until the goblins had set up this method of traversing the area then simply created a gust of wind that blew away the fog entirely. Bored with warning shots the Union archers then targeted the group aiming to kill. Unfortunately the goblins had not had time to finish covering themselves in ash by this stage so their entire force was easy to spot.

Literally the shaman just kept putting out just enough fog for the lads to cover themselves until they were gucci, and the distant archers missed just about every shot as well, given their distance and the small, spread out targets. You can either roleplay attacking these units in game or be ignored entirely until you're ready to cooperate and not powerplay dumb things on my thread. Contact me ingame with your response but do not continue to post on this thread and spam it.

Unfortunately one goblin shaman was not nearly powerful enough to counter the work of several Union trained mages and the goblins strategy had left them badly vulnerable to attack. As previously stated you will be ignored if you do not acknowledge and respond to the perfectly legitimate actions taken by these characters within my own faction. The medium used to convey them is irrelevant (I'm just used the best means of roleplaying out this particular scenario) and your accusations of powerplaying are blatantly false as I have only stated the actions of people in my own faction not yours.

Has it ever occurred to you that doing the legitimate thing of accepting that matching across a heavily defended border might cause at least some losses to your unit might bring us more quickly to the in-game RP you seem so desperate to have?
