Of the 21 active people in Asgarnia's Discord, who attend events regularly...

15 have outright supported this. Either ingame, on the forums, on Skype, or on the Discord. Some who even oppose dissolving their own PoKs, support this. Due to the OOC reason of "We can't do any traditionally POK stuff with Gods hovering over us."

Many more of TWK have supported this. Temple Knight players have pmed me out of the blue asking if this is true, and ecstatically saying they've wanted this forever.

Overall, I'd say we have at least 25 people in support of this, and these 25 are those who actively participate in and roleplay within Asgarnia, turning up to events, plots, and casual roleplay. Even initiating some of their own outside of the clan.

That's not counting those who aren't active Asgarnians and support it.

(Honestly, as much as I appreciate the support, we aren't as concerned about tallying people who haven't been roleplaying with us. Though don't mistake my clan-centric number crunches for apathy. We do appreciate it. <3)

Of those who actively, truly care for Asgarnia with a passion? Yeah, we have a little over 20.

And that's what matters to us. That the people who want this, are a supermajority of the people of Asgarnia.

You're missing the whole point of this. Instead of POKs being the main focus of everything, we can finally focus on more in depth story based roleplay that isn't just "i disagree with you." 'well ur gay and ur gonna die.' "well this is upsetting." You can still do plots within Asgarnia.

The only people who would logically be complaining, are the people who just want to rule a POK for their ego to go skyrocketing.

I'm not going to argue about this (by which I mean I'd like to talk about it abit but ask that nobody gets angry over it).

But the issue here as I see it is that removing Poks adds nothing to W42. So many of the listed reasons for doing so revolve around things that I feel we could already do before the change such has have more in depth story based role or in unrealistic expectations such as saying it will end arguments and drama on W42.

But I'd also like to add that your description seems to me to be an big oversimplification of the web of plots and intrigues that surrounded pok RP. I can understand that there are people who don't enjoy that type of RP but it seems unfair to dismiss it so completely. "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"

But what happens if Jagex removes Saradomin and Birdboy after Sliske's Endgame is old news? My vote for God Emperor goes to the Hairdresser. Any man who can still keep his business after being made completely pointless must know how to run a tight ship.

In all seriousness, I've offered little in terms of actual insight beyond praise for this. I don't roleplay in Asgarnia regularly outside of the Rising Sun, and so my opinion is pointless. Still, I think this was a great move. What I don't think, however is that all other kingdoms need adopt this method.

Still, in time, the LordArchDuke of Penguinland or any other leader may grow tired of many failed meeting with Saradomin where he just sits there, blue and bearded on his throne made of actual human beings. I DO think this is the system of the future, I praise it's humbling nature, and I look forward to how this choice will shape the world.
