Hey guys, after certain threads were made, I decided to investigate on this matter. Why? Because we are the community, and we should always try and find a way to work things out, it being discord or forum's. Now, PLEASE I wish for everyone to follow me on this matter, and not point fingers, I want to try and solve this matter without pointing fingers. This thread is to discuss on a certain lore-break I heard about, and whether or not is it lore-break. So please no pointing fingers, or naming the person.

So recently I just heard that a Mahjarrat(or dream of mah to some) was revived by a necromancer. Now I may be mistaken, but Mahjarrat have no soul, so they cannot be revived at all, plus their body vanishes after a certain amount of time, leaving only their crystals, which could leave them a tiny version of themselves or not. So, this is where I ask, am I wrong on thinking this is lore-break? Mahjarrat were stated to have no soul, or an afterlife, giving them no ticket to be revived. Plus their body would be vanishes, so how would it be possible for a Mahjarrat to be revived if it isn't lore-break?

I recall hearing that Mahjarrat have no afterlife, and for the fact that they can be considered tier 7 (lor mahj or not) furthers the situation.

Lets recall that children of mah only proved that Mahjarrat no longer needed sacrifices, and that (by some point of a vote last month) rp mahjarrat didn't get the powerboost, just no more drainage. So what would you all consider this situation? Again this is meant to discuss if it is lore-break or not, so avoid bashing at each other, or insulting someone. AND PLEASE no naming the person, if you know who you are, please don't take this as in insult, you can backup your story, just don't make it "you" for those who knows who, Please don't state it.

The only examples of Dreams of Mah "resurrecting" came from the claims of the Hazeel Cult, who were mistaken that Hazeel had died - He had put himself in to a deep sleep to recover from his wounds. Dreams of Mah that actually die are incapable of coming back, and being sacrificed isn't the only way a Deam of Mah can die. While reading the tombstones on Freneskae, there are recordings of various Dreams' last thoughts, narrated from a third-person perspective, of dying to the Muspah or falling in lava. The Sicarius |

*Ahem*
Anyways, I believe that if it has been stated that Mahjarrat have neither a soul nor an afterlife that resurrection is in fact lore break.

Bingo then. More opinions and thoughts to come.

If that is the case, then Hazeel, as I looked into it, went into a Torpor; a state of decreased physiological activity in an animal, usually by a reduced body temperature and metabolic rate. Torpor enables animals to survive periods of reduced food availability. A torpor bout can refer to the time a hibernator spends at low body temperature, lasting days to weeks. So if the Mahjarrat does that, they'd need to escape and pull the torpor effect with no one looking. If they did this, they faked their death, unless said killer made sure he was dead.

Also, Mahjarrat can also die by wounds, Dimension of Disaster proved it, so did Lucien's death, and Palkeera

As I understand it the character in question wasn't returned by necromancy either, they were just in the same situation as Hazeel.

If I recall the character's death (or not I guess) occurred within a post on a thread and was arranged by that player. If no other players were involved then I guess it's up to the character's owner to decide what happened in that event and if the character was able to escape and put themselves into a "deep sleep" to heal themselves or not.

Don't believe this personally. I feel as if it is just a false statement made to try and make it seem like *Insert certain character* (The ic one.) should be walking around all fine.

If that is the case, it still depends on the person to posted the death, or was in charge of it. How I see it of course. But said character should consider in thinking how people would feel about this, and how it should be handled.

Of course depending on the injury, it could take upto a hundred (or more than 4) years for a full recovery.

Could this be a case of people taking a joke too far? Let me quote something from yesterday.

"No, I only revived Pyro's ass. Literally, just his ass."

That's actually the only grounds for one to believe that a necromancer brought back a Mahjarrat. I fear for the I.Q of W42.
