As I understand it the character in question wasn't returned by necromancy either, they were just in the same situation as Hazeel.

If I recall the character's death (or not I guess) occurred within a post on a thread and was arranged by that player. If no other players were involved then I guess it's up to the character's owner to decide what happened in that event and if the character was able to escape and put themselves into a "deep sleep" to heal themselves or not.

Don't believe this personally. I feel as if it is just a false statement made to try and make it seem like the said character should be walking around all fine.

Please edit your post and avoid the naming.

Sorry if I did not specify. I was talking about the ic character, not the ooc one.

I am not naming and shaming. Unless it counts for ic characters in which case...Meh.

Could this be a case of people taking a joke too far? Let me quote something from yesterday.

"No, I only revived Pyro's ass. Literally, just his ass."

That's actually the only grounds for one to believe that a necromancer brought back a Mahjarrat. I fear for the I.Q of W42.

Honestly I am only stating what I heard and wanted to know if my lore is right/wrong.

You can't revive a Mahjarrat.
They're divine, so their energy disperses on death and returns to the world -- or, it goes to other entities.
Their divine soul is part of the energy that disperses and dissipates.
They have no afterlife.
Their bodies disappear a while after death unless preserved magically (Palkeera in the Shadow Realm).
What Hazeel did is similar to torpor, albeit a magical and enhanced one.
Saying your Mahjarrat did that without telling anyone OOC is kinda just a shitty excuse to not let them be killed.
I'd say you could POSSIBLY contact the lingering fragments of their consciousness -- the concept art for Mah's Nightmares labels the gemstones on their foreheads as 'mind stones', so I assume a Mahjarrat's crystal is the same as the Nightmare crystals, plus you can see the Mahjarrat's last thoughts with them. So MAYBE if you kept the crystal, you could recreate the Mahjarrat to an extent -- albeit with many memories missing along with knowledge being lost; essentially a new Mahjarrat. MAYBE.

In general I'd agree with this but as I understand it, in this instance the person wasn't trying to avoid losing their character, the entire event was instigated and only involved the owner of the character.
