When you place your soul in then hands of a God - when you truly and fully give yourself to their name, their philosophy and their ultimate goals - then and only then may you comprehend the true meaning of faith.

They call Him the God of Control. As if it is as simple as some sort of conceptual alignment. As if he seeks to be a tyrant in an absent throne. He is far more than that. The Dark Imperator is not empty, and He is far from absent. His alignment is not to control, but to Fate. The Fate of Gielinor, and all the young gods residing on her, with their naivete and their falsehoods and their bravado. It is easy to call someone evil based upon perceived misconceptions and all that which breeds heinous feelings of fear. The Dark Imperator, the Unyielding and Imperceptible Hand of Fate Itself, does not seek something so elementary and childish as control. He seeks to guide us all to the true potential that lies dormant and stagnant under false security, and extremes of order and chaos. That which he does that may be perceived as... "evil" is only a means to an end. Demons, Vampyres, Stern Judges. Means. The end is... unity. Awe-inspiring.

When I truly gave myself over, pledged my very being to the cause and became a Praetorian of the unstoppable war machine that was the Zaryte Nex, I gave up my identity. Every facet of who I was; my name, my face, sometimes perhaps my very soul feels... not my own. But it must be done. That, too, is a means to an end.

The Nihil, "X" as he was called, acted as the other faction Legates do. Brash. Arrogant. Reckless. Quick to act, and to think in retrospect only. The path to victory, the path demanded by Fate, is one of careful planning. Failure, mercy, and bravado are things we cannot allow now. Things I may not, must not. If doing what I must means annihilation, let it be mutual for all.

It is, after all, a means to an end. Not impressed.

I thought the Dark Imperator was what they called Lornab in Dimension of Disaster?

-A make shift boat had made its way to the coast of mudskipper point, and by make shift i mean its almost miraculous that it made the trip. And by made its way i mean it was a crash landing, and as such the crew of various monkies and apes scraped together the wreckage and and what little crates and barrels that survived and put together a small makeshift camp-

Alternatively, if you don't wish to see this roleplay happen at all and would rather see a different one, please tell me. Suggestions are always welcome.

I'm pretty sure faction leaders weren't supposed to be allowed to go more than two weeks without holding roleplay, and it's now been two weeks. Please, if the current plans do not work for you but you'd still like to participate in Armadyl rp, give me some kind of input.
