Bandosians had the means to win, but with the losses they had and the "Focus" in hands, they just decided to leave before Armadylean reinforcements could arrive and put that to question.
The tower is still in Armadylean hands, the battered offensive lines of Bandosians returning home, only to discover the Divine Focus they took was a decoy.
Damage was done to the tower. It will need careful rebuilding, as both sides lick their wounds and prepare for further conflict.
Many concerns were brought forward, especially with this battle as one of it's size and importance. I will address these in the following post.
Characters Used:
The Gamemaster would like to restate, that Mahjarrat are not allowed in combat scenarios. This does now include part-Mahjarrat, unless prior agreed upon by the leaders of all participating factions, and the Gamemaster. This will occur on a case-by-case scenario with heavy scrutiny and bias against the allowance, unless it has benefits to both sides.
The full list Banned Races now includes:
- Mahjarrat
- Part-Mahjarrat, where the Character's genetics still affect their combat ability, down to 1/4 or higher.
- Large Demons (Rippers, Greater Demon+ Avernic, Infernals, otherwise non-descript big Chthonians)
- Eagle Aviansie (Kree'Ara's size.)
- Icyene
- Ourgs
- Ents
- Living Rock Creatures
- Shadow-Realm Users not-Aligned with Sliske
Characters of a certain size, bulk, or other innate ability are to be limited. The amount of limitation will be determined by the Gamemaster and involved faction leaders.
This includes the following:
- Demons of all Kinds and Variations not otherwise banned.
- Flying Combatants (Gnomes in gliders, Aviansie, etc)
- Enhanced humans (Moonclan, Shadow Realm corrupted, etc)
- Bulky, Tankier creatures (Trolls, Ogres, Airut, Golems, Werewolves, Giants, etc)
- Spiritual Warriors of all Kinds
- Powerful Undead
- Magically Adept races (Elementals, Gorajo)
- Hybrids of any banned race with Humans/Elves/Gnomes/Dwarves
All characters on either of these two lists must be used by someone who has applied to the roleplay.

Custom Magic must be brought forward to the Leadership one week prior to the battle, and approved by all faction leaders. It must then be posted to the forums no less than three days before the battle starts.
Unique Items must also be brought forward to the leadership so that they are aware, with anything stronger than a level 30 Weapon or armour, or caster of spells stronger than a Blast or Burst noted by the Gamemaster and participating fighters. Items non-existant in lore (IE Relics, Enchanted weapons/armour, Custom metal) must be approved by the Gamemaster.
ll Artillery used for anything other than flavourtext should have people RPing the loading, firing, and cleaning process.
Player Restrictions:
Please, apply with characters that are named characters in a faction. This is for planning and roster purposes, to be able to expect numbers at events.
Faction leaders are responsible to take a head-count of their faction and those who can attend, and forward this list to the Gamemaster, as all plans around the event will be based off of expected attendance.
Please show up a half hour early to the battle, so everyone is there for the start and undecided soldiers can be dispersed.
People who are not using a named character will be considered Undecided, and may be asked to switch sides for balancing purposes. If you are not playing a character on a roster, the best way to ensure you are on the side you want to be on is to apply!
Late-comers will be tolerated up to twenty minutes after a battle begins. Afterwards, they will be asked to leave the event and ignored by participants.
Bring forward all concerns during the event to the Skype of the Gamemaster. This is due to the amount of text during a combat event making it difficult to read and take into account, or save for later discussion. Issues during the event will also need to be brought to the Gamemaster, and assistants for the duration of the event.

Faction leaders MUST have their PM accessible to the Gamemaster during the event.
If someone has OOC behavior or comments that are rude and otherwise unsporting, they will be asked to leave the event. These are for fun, and if you're going to be an ass, you're making it less fun for everyone else.
A Note to Everyone:
I am not happy that I need to make these rules, nor am I happy to be spending my saturday night dealing with OOC arguements over a video game, rather than speaking with my mom and her boyfriend before I go back to university.
All
of these problems can be traced back to the root issues of communication, and play to win mentality, which I am also not happy about.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in the future.
Notes to Faction Leaders:
The past two conflicts have involved a surprise attack direct into the heartland of another faction. I am not okay with this.
The intent of planning and communicating battles means you should plan and co-ordinate with
me
before the event is even posted, so I can do my job and speak to local OOC governments, and involve them in the process of planning out what each side involved is bringing into the battle, and times that work for all involved parties.
In addition to this, many of the issues brought up during this battle, could have been worked out with smaller, medium sized conflicts leading up to a big one where all players become aware of what to expect, without the higher stakes of a heartland conflict, and more communication.
It is because of this I am going to formally state,
NO events involving combat, will be posted by anyone except the Gamemaster, or they will not occur.
Once an event is posted, it is harder for me to say it can't happen. However I am going to slam the book shut now on any further lack of communication.
