The Kraken's Den is a group of small tropical islands that the Sartosa settled. It is the sight of their greatest kill as well. These islands are uncharted and the location is a well guarded secret. The islands host many exotic herbs, spices, fruits, and sugar. Port Sartosa is located on this island and is the only piece of land the Sartosa call home.

Stormshell Bastion :
At the Heard of Port Sartosa is the family's fort. A large structure made from the shell of a giant Storm-Shell Kraken and the ship that killed it. This is the seat of power for the Sartosa.

Tribute Square :
This large plaza is where returning ships display their slain or captured sea monsters. The ones small enough to drag onto land that is.

Tower of Storms :
A small tower on a small island near the bastion. This is where all the knowledge of sea monsters and storm magic is kept.

Cave of the Deep :
The underground cave beneath Stormshell Bastion. It serves as a shrine to the Sartosa's goddess and their crypts. The cave connects to the sea via a large pool of water. Nobody knows how deep the pool goes. The Sartosa believe this pool is connected to the underworld. The dead are thrown into the pool and sink to the depths.

†•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•† Sartosa Rums†•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•†

The Sartosa have a major rum brewing operation on their home islands. These rums are highly coveted and of the highest quality. The recipes have been perfected over the centuries.

Sartosa Coconut Rum: The most widespread of the Sartosa Rums. This light rum is infused with coconut and is quite sweet.

Sartosa Blackpowder: A dark spiced rum. This rum has a kick to it. It is outlawed in some locations.

Sartosa Treasure: This golden rum is a simple recipe. It is popular with pirates for some reason. Might be the gold coin in the bottle..

Sartosa Castaway: Another light rum. Infused with mango and starfruit. It is popular in gnome lands.

Sartosa Depths: A dark rum. Perfect to drown away your troubles.

Sartosa Kraken Ink: Perhaps the most famous of the family's rum. It is a dark spiced rum infused with coconut and a drop of kraken ink. It is said to provide a temporary boost to water magic.

†•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•† Devourer in the Depths †•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•†

The Devourer in the Depths came to our ancestors. She charged us with slaying monsters of the sea in her name. All life in the sea belongs to her. No other god shall take the sea. Should we slay enough we shall be reborn again. In the end we shall sail the Noumenon for our goddess.

The Sartosa and those that follow them worship a goddess called the Devourer in the Depths. This is in reality Amascut, however the Sartosa are ignorant of this. They do not know the origins of their goddess and through the ages their worship of Amascut evolved into what it is today. The Sartosa are ignorant of their Goddess' goals and true name.

Their worship of the Devourer in the Depths has made the Sartosa fearless of death. Believing that it does not matter if they die for if they slayed enough creatures and sent enough souls of monsters to their goddess that they will be reborn. This belief makes both the Sartosa and their Kraken Corsairs deadly. What is deadlier than a slayer who believes they will be reborn?

†•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•† Stormbringers †•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•††•~•†

The Stormbringers are the chroniclers and slayer mages of the Sartosa family. These Sartosa mages have slowly been dying out over the centuries and very few remain. The art of Sartosa storm magic is also being lost as the Stormbringers' numbers decline. The origin of the Stormbringers magic has roots with the eastern sea witches.

Stormbringers use a near unique type of magic. When playing a stormbringer keep in mind that the spells are centered towards hindering sea monsters. The spellbook is not ideal for fighting other people. The spells range from summoning small storm clouds that fire lightning to creating maelstroms in the sea.
