The following letter would be delivered to each of Misthalin's vassals and those who hold titles within the Kingdom. Only the Duchy of Lumbridge, held by House Lansing, would be exempt from following this summon. The County of Draynor is not exempt, however.

Liege Lord's of the Misthalinian People,

It is my honor and privilege to now serve in His Majesty's government as Hand and as such, I've taken the task of reaffirming your allegiances to the Crown by issuing this summon to Varrock Palace. I have no doubt many of you are loyal vassals to King James and Queen Rhoslyn, however, such assurances are undoubtedly necessary to preserving a united and powerful kingdom. As we move forward into a new year, guided by our own gracious monarch's, I have no qualms with any of you, but expect of you to carry out your duties in serving Their Majesties to your utmost able ability.

As such, you are summoned to Varrock Palace at the nearest availability to retake your oaths of allegiance and speak to me personally as we move forward into this new year with vigor and victory.

The following was found under the Varrock Herald Obituaries:


Varrock — Rosaline Eloise Haines, 34, died Tuesday, 27 Wintumber, Year 1, Sixth Age outside the Grand Exchange in Varrock.

Rosaline was born 14 Fentuary, Year 139, Fifth Age, in Varrock, Misthalin. She worked as a mediocre performer and entertainer, then became an even worse chaos monk, and later served in the Godless before betraying the very same people she would sacrifice anything for (and did). She was an avid collector of Tickle Me Hero plush toys and boasted a collection so impressive that even the mighty god of chaos himself would blush at the very sight of it.

Unfortunately, her habit of getting herself in all sorts trouble as well as an almost enviable state of perpetual desperation led to our very special and dear Rosaline being convicted of crimes such as, but not limited to: lying with demons and Mahjarrat, consorting with said devilishly handsome fiends; accessory to the murder of one Mark, former First Commander of the Godless faction; and oh so much more (we won't bore you with the details)! Because of her actions Rosaline's sentencing was decided by a slightly biased jury of her peers, whom were eager to see her burned at the stake. Her punishment was carried out fully and without delay.

She is survived by a daughter of 3 years, Joanne Haines; and very few friends.

She is preceded in death by son, Linold Haines; partner, Ptolemy Dean; brother, Richard Haines; husband, Kudret Tezri; parents, Corliss and Ransley Haines; and far too many more to list here.

Services will not be held.

It was folly for earlier Caliphs to see themselves betters of the western Kingdoms, dissolving themselves to arrogance against the Saradominist nations. I'll be available to roleplay after the 6th. Until then, going to be writing up quests that various adventurers can complete by speaking to different characters.

There are many different unfulfilled roles in the government and throughout the kingdom. At the moment, Misthalin needs a Count of Draynor and Margrave of Edgeville. Most of your usual courtly positions such as Court Wizard, Steward of Varrock Palace, and ministerial roles, aren't taken and can be fulfilled should anyone consult with me on them or has any ideas as to what role they'd like to have in the kingdom's affairs, should a title they want not exist.

Aside from government, we're looking into continuing some of the provided settings in Varrock, such as the Black Arm-Phoenix Feud and would like to ask that anyone interested in leading either of those gangs simply throw me a pm on Skype or drop a message here. As I write the feud into the PoKs story, each gang will have its pros/cons and no one has to necessarily belong to either in-game as the Shield of Arrav quest will be irrelevant to a certain extent.

Furthermore, the noble houses of Gontamue and Leptoc (remember the Romeo & Juliet quest line?) will be at another rivalry for the Crown's favor, throwing some conflict into the upper classes of Varrock and the court.

And lastly, I encourage anyone interested in having a free hand at Misthalin to get involved. It's safe to say roleplay has been on a decline and there shouldn't be a lack of interest whilst everyone has a bundle of ideas for their own development. Not going on some useless spiel about the community as I'd discourage anyone to because it's never actually done anything, I'm simply just going to encourage anyone and everyone to get involved. No one is likely to get shutdown in this clan.

Also, should Rex or Eli read this, I need to speak to you both.

History: Growing up in Falador during the first half of his life he often wished for more. To him the White Knights was not enough. He converted to Bandosianism at the age of 30 in his life. Ever since then he has been travelling as a mercenary working for coin. He joined the beginning of the Legacy at the age of 40. Since then his job has been to spread the word of Bandosianism along with advocating it to be accepted.
