There has been some political shifts, although I have changed little on that part of the thread due to general confusion about some of these situations... also some updates, just check the highlights on the first page
"The gods envy us. They envy us because we're mortal, because any moment may be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again." - Achilles, Troy
Morytania, for the forseeable future, has no singular leader. The united coalition of covens lead by Ren Draculea crumbled, and after the peace treaty was signed by Vanesculea and the royalty of Misthalin, leadership of Morytania was given to a ruling council, which includes: Vanesculea Drakan, Queen Efiarity, At least one surviving member of the Myreque, and an advisor from Misthalin.
All of this is true as of the events of the quest River of Blood, and those who had "claimed" Morytania are no longer present or active, so it makes sense to "de-claim" it.
However, in the absence of a leader who's interests are solely that of the vampyres', many remaining vampyres in Morytania have taken to following a new group: "The Church of Lowerniel", a group which is starting to become more and more popular in Morytania.
For the moment, the Misthalin government shows now interest in this church and simply believes it to be a vocal minority and of no real threat or consequence.
Thoughtcrime doesn't entail death. Thoughtcrime IS death.

Alright, I will adjust this. Is there any known leadership for the church? Anything I can put down for them? Also, would you happen to know of the state of leadership for other places within Morytania or do they all follow this "de-claiming"
In other news, updated the suggested application process to be more straightforward

There is also a sort of application to fill out if you wish to report events in shorthand, otherwise you can give me a grand post describing the entire thing and I will paste the text on page 4 as well as summarize it for highlighted events.

I may bumb this after every few updates so, despite the last post, there may be something new.

Me and Siarnaq are currently in charge of the Church, as it's acting for the catalyst in our rp there (

). However, it's been fairly quiet there and a lot of people have moved on (Or are participating in Isaac Stark's 5th-age Morytania roleplay, which is also a thing), so I think it's safe to say for now that the "de-claiming" is universal across Morytania, and will probably stay that way for the foreseeable future due to lore-based reasons (We'll see, though. A lot of activity there kinda died down after River of Blood).

Alright. Thanks for all the info, I can always use it. Everything's been updated accordingly, I entered a separate section under leaders for the church and provided a link on 4.2

To all the wonderful people who helped make this happen... again. Appreciate these people for bringing you this vast library of recent history.

Personal things going on including new laptop and moving, so if anything has happened recently please let me know. I will be out of the loop for a few days.

Everything reported seems to be in order.
