So is this a private roleplay group with less care for the lore of the game?

No it is a public roleplay group with all the complex history of public RP on W42 which has led in some situations to some highly unusual and unexpected circumstances. To me this is no more strange in my opinion than seeing a cult that worships the dragonkin ruling over most of Misthalin or an invasion of elves (worshipers of the peace loving Saren) against Kandarin.

Personally I find it ironic when people try to paint what historically has always been perfectly acceptable and even the main selling point of W42 (the freedom to develop the story in a direction of your own choosing) as something new, strange and inexplicable.

If you have a more specific complaint, beyond the described scenario being unlikely; please state it in your next post or do not post again on this topic at all. "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"

Story's really a bit too long for even all of my remaining reserves as it turns out but I've done my best to squeeze in an abridged version.
