Introduction
It was a sweltering morning, the beating sun in the desert skies shining over the city of Pollnivneach. People had gathered in the streets by droves. Why? The woman whom many considered a leader, a traitor, a unifier, a deserter had stepped out from her keep clad in the noble clothing signature to those in the upper society of Menaphos. Her hair a dye of runite blue, her eyes a piercing dark brown. She stepped from the shade into the sweltering heat, an array of cheers and applause met her at sunlight’s beat. She raised her arms to silence her followers, they were here to listen to the “Unifier” her message simple, but hundreds flocked to listen anyway.
“My brothers! My Sisters! Even in this heat you choose to follow me, only proving my message is strong! Unity! Unity for our nation has become a shadow of it’s former self, we live in divided Kingdoms, rulers who cannot provide for our sick, our needy, those that live in villages, you may ask /What does she know of our suffering? She is a noble!/. I say to you, I’ve seen the desolation, those of you who know me well have seen me carry water on my back to villages in drought! You are my family! All of this region is family! We cannot live divided any longer.
Those outside of our nations seek to use us, abuse and conquer us. We cannot stay divided any longer, and I come to you with great new! I have signed treaties with the Caliphates of Khartoum, Kharid and Izada and we have unification of two regions of our once glorious Empire! Though great in news, we cannot stop now, I will not stop until we have total unification, and only then will we Reestablish our Menaphite Empire!
