With the information from the Kharidian and House Iskhar records, the heiroglyphs had been translated from a personal narrative dating back to the Third Age.

Perhaps it was Fate that decided the few words I knew were the ones written above the entrance. Beware, for only Time can keep the darkness at bay . I camped that night outside the entrance and could not shake the feeling that I shouldn't of found this place. The next morning a sandstorm gathered over the horizon and I made my leave. For all the years more I wandered the sands, I never was able to find that tomb. I know not if it was a blessing or a curse.

It could of been a matter of fate or dumb luck that decided on the same day Charlotte and the others found for the answers they seek, they found more than they had expected. The legend of the demon Zahhak. A loyal follower of the Empty Lord who stayed true to his liege. But was swallowed by the Sands and forgotten to time .

Thinking that the ruins Charlotte's dig team had uncover were actually the final resting place of Zahhak, they decided to go back forth to the Pharaoh and the Divan.

Praying to Tumeken that the Dig Team had not tried to force their way into the tomb and awaken something that should of been forgotten.

News would start to spread through the streets of Kharid of these ruins and the dark powers it might hold. Attracting adventurers.

All of the Jackals of Icthlarin, in their rather small number, gathered silently in the courtyard of the palace. They all waited silently formed in rows of 4 until Tariq arrived and made his way to the front of the group. He silently surveyed them before giving a nod, raising his fist, extending one finger, then lowering it and walking out of the palace. All of the masked zealots followed in unison as they began their pilgrimage.

The regular soldiers of the Caliphate would have to do for guards until their return.

The Caliph's Kids


Gathered for the first time in a long while, the eight children of his holiness, Caliph Tumuh Khalam of Kharidia caused a great deal of trouble. From palace rough housing to magic carpet joy rides, the kids eventually journeyed to the back of the mighty Tuska on the suggestion of the eldest, P'tah Khalam. Where the male heirs were frightened, Zayda and Athea Khalam charged into the portal resting upon the magnificent beast's back. Into the realm of the Goebie the children ventured, fighting amongst themselves until they encountered the natives themselves. After all the fun was had, the children, escorted by Prince Ullek, the nephew of Caliph Tumuh, made their way back to the shining palace of Al Kharid.

A long night was spent reflecting on the family troubles. Who would take the throne, who would be sold into diplomatic marriages, and who would kill their siblings for all out power?The plight of those with everything to lose haunts even the youngest of souls.

With tensions stirring, a welcoming letter of invitation to a wedding is always a sight for sore and tired eyes. Duke Kywel Telemmaitë of the Ithell and Lady Irelia Taleni of the Iorwerth have been pledged to marry one another. The ceremony will be held at the chapel within the Telemmaitë manor in Hailawën; capital of the southerlands.

Guards will be at the entrances disarming people of weapons not intended for ceremonial purposes, as well as ammunition. Security as always will be on high alert; and a detachment from the Dewin Regiment in Iliara has additionally been sent to help secure the wedding.

To ease and mend the tensions between men and elves; we would hope you enjoy.



On an OOC note, this wedding will be held at 1:30 PM Central on Saturday, June 3rd. No combat will be allowed. PM me in-game if you want to be there (under the username 'Bloxzor) and/or post on our thread.

When his brother Saareo was executed in Burthorpe, Asaric asked a High Priestess to plague the city as retribution for Saareo's death. He developed a hatred of westerners and later supported the Ordo Magi in secret during the Magi War. Returning to Al Kharid, he intends to become an advisor to the Caliph and return to his sorcery. He also declares himself now to be a Priest of Apmeken. Equipped with his own personal grimoire, like many Vahar, Asaric's style of spellcasting is mostly trickster curses. The gates of Menaphos open and the Pharaoh of Kharidia seeks to end the long war without bloodshed. He calls for all who wish to negotiate and trade on behalf of the desert to his Palace to discuss this matter. As a diplomatic mission weapons and magic will not be permitted within the Golden City. Only those most devout to the mission of peace in the name of the Pantheon should apply.
