Would you like this thread title to be changed to
hmm

something like

Forum Specific Rules Discussion

(I think I'm one space over the limit, but could do ForumSpecific together)

Sure, that works.
I am going to break your arm so that the bone juts out and then I will stab you to death with your own insides. I will win this chess game, is what I am saying.

I remember the last time this was done because I put together the final draft. Unfortunately, I no longer have it (I checked). I wish the best of luck in achieving the desired outcome, but I warn you against optimism. The final draft we submitted was not included in its entirety. Elements were left out, consistency fell victim to defenestration and whomever was charged with replacing the FSRs took the liberty of mashing it together with parts of the old one with little love or concern. The atrocity it finalised as is the consequence of that barbarism. Better luck this time?

And the ghost speaks words of wisdom.

Well, it's kind of on you now

No pressure, Rex.

Members of our community are going to be talking things out a bit this weekend, and these forum specific issues will certainly be on the table for the discussion. Those of you who won't be/don't want to/have much better things to do should totally voice some questions and concerns on here so we can bring them up in a formative and productive environment. That'll help the 42/41/idkwhoelsedoesrp communities decide what problems they have and if anyone has an suggestions about what to do moving forward. Keeping a cordial relationship between players and mods should be an important part in not just this roleplaying community, but the entire gaming environment. thing we're trying should help move some of the clutter and spam off of our forums as well. I do hope that this thread, and others, are a clear sign that the RP servers are moving to a much healthier, vibrant mindset.

Hello

It wasn't that long ago that the forum specific rules for this forum were updated and, in fact, they were updated based on the community's input.

The typical process is:

1. set up a thread where discussion can take place about the forum specific rules and, after discussion, make a draft of what you would like.

One of the things I remember about the previous discussion that resulted in several changes is: some wanted rules or policies that were against the general forum rules (the Code of Conduct). It is important to remember that forum specific rules need to be within the Code of Conduct.

2. finalize the draft and an f mod (most likely me) would pass that along to the Community Management team.

3. The Jmods would review your recommendations. In the end, the decision would be in Jagex's hands.

I can also give the Community Management team a heads up that the community has a thread to discuss the forum specific rules.

Let me know if I can help in any other way.
Firstly, I'll apologise for being sort of off-topic regarding this thread. I misclicked and accidently found myself in this forum, and noticed this thread with curiosity.

I assume that's only if the community works to forming the FSR, that it'll be passed on? Because I'm sure you know, for a year+ I've had a thread about updating the M&D&D FSR, and literally nothing has happened. It's not even rule changing, but guidance. I assume nothing has just happened because I know the community on that side dislikes me a lot.

I guess what I'm really wondering about, is would it be different if a thread was created to allow people from that specific community to add their discussions/contributions such as this thread, rather than just the one I did that most likely no one from that community has even seen?

Again, I apologise to the Roleplaying community for this post <3
