Game Freak is actually game freaks! Some Pokemon's pokedex entry is very odd and strange or even can scare a child to play the game! Here is some freaky examples I've found when playing:

Pokemon Firered:

Raichu - ''
Its electric charges can reach even 100,000 volts. Careless contact can cause even an Indian elephant to faint.
'' <--- Eh what?

Parasect - ''
It scatters toxic spores from the mushroom cap. In China, the spores are used as herbal medicine.
'' <--- Why is China involved in a fantasy world?

Xatu - ''
In South America, it is said that its right eye sees the future and its left eye views the past.
'' <--- Oh really?

Pokemon Sapphire:

Cacturne - ''
If a traveler is going through a desert in the thick of night, CACTURNE will follow in a ragtag group. The POKéMON are biding their time, waiting for the traveler to tire and become incapable of moving.
'' <--- That's how it pks humans!

Gorebyss - ''
Although GOREBYSS is the very picture of elegance and beauty while swimming, it is also cruel. When it spots prey, this POKéMON inserts its thin mouth into the prey's body and drains the prey of its body fluids.
'' <--- Watch out, summer swimmers!

Pokemon X:

Snubbull - ''
It has an active, playful nature. Many women like to frolic with it because of its affectionate ways.
'' <--- The new playboy eh?

Pokemon Sun:

Drifloon - ''
Stories go that it grabs the hands of small children and drags them away to the afterlife. It dislikes heavy children.
'' <--- Racist!

Pokemon Moon:

Bewear - ''
This Pokémon has the habit of hugging its companions. Many Trainers have left this world after their spines were squashed by its hug.
'' <--- Beware! You've been warned!

So I just completed the first part of The Crown Tundra and have to say, its really good so far.

I especially liked the part when
Peony gets controlled by Calyrex then wakes up wondering why hes there.

Plus I was also thankfully able to catch the main legendary with a timer ball thus saving my master for one of the others.

Just a small FYI for those who play Pokemon Go or want Melmetal, right now if you transfer 1 pokemon from Go into Pokemon Home, you can get yourself a Melmetal that can Gigantamax.

Dont know how long its going on for though.

Strating in December you can also get yourself a Zarude if you sign up for the Pokemon Trainer's Club Newsletter by November 20th. This method is only for North Americans though.

For Europeans you can get a serial code from the GAME stores and redeem those until March 31st 2021.

The Lites only costs ~100 USD so if you want the cheaper option theres that.

The switch lite is $200.

I haven't played any pokemon games in a really long time and I don't see myself playing them anytime soon. Honestly, I find them pretty boring now. I played a pokemon game from every generation up until sun and moon, I never played sun or moon or any game that came after those.
Nothing against people who still play, I just haven't been bothered to and I don't play video games enough anymore for it to be worth buying a console.
The regular games can still be fun, I hate pokemon go though.
Niantic creates a game revolved around the idea of walking, then pushes people to play co-op and do raids for almost all the legendary pokemon. I'd much rather find them randomly walking around, also it'd be more cool.. At least for the legendary pokemon that were known to be wild encounters or more random.. Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, entei, raikou, etc. My memory's not the best for those games so sorry if I'm mistaken. Anyway, what's the point when the pokemon that are supposed to be legendary are stored in ample quantities, and you don't even have to walk to get them?
I'd be fine with the raids releasing pokemon into the "wild", I don't think they feel like very much of an achievement as is.
I think pokemon go was rushed, and could've had more varied gameplay elements. However, I've never even done a raid or put more than 10 hours into the game.. It wasn't fun enough for me to play more than that. I think that's actually my only problem with the game, I don't have fun with it at all.
I'm sorry to rant, this is just my thoughts.
