- One of the many reasons I couldn't live in Australia.

I would freak out, not sure how the mum stayed so calm. What a brave women.

Around 20 years ago, I woke up to hundreds of baby spiders over a part of my celling and runch slider window, there must have been a nest in the Christmas tree I brought into the house the day before. They were tiny, incy wincy spiders, I took a photo, the photo didn't look that significant, it was though, I didn't buy another live Christmas tree ever again, I delt with it by spraying fly spray :D

Those spiders in that clip is another story, how the hell would you deal with that?? Spray wouldn't work, they'd be on you before you could even count to 5. I would close the door, move out and get professionals to deal with it. Not sure if I could move back in though.

Again in my 20s, I got a cockroach colour lounge suite given to me, they brought it around, brought it into my house and it only cost me $100NZ, excellent condition. It had been sitting in their garage for God knows how long. Anyway, I can't remember if it was that day/night or the next day. The couches was riddled with cockroaches :O So it sat in my lounge not being used for a good six months, I fly sprayed it through out the day, for weeks and weeks. In around 6 months time I started sitting on, using it as a lounge suite. I believe I got rid of every last one of them.
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

I can't see the report either but I assume they're a nasty type of spider. I'd definitely move out while someone professional dealt with them.
@ Tuffty. Yikes! That video clip is seriously scary. I don't like spiders and I wish I hadn't seen that clip all the way to the end. Even the first part made my skin crawl. *shudders*

edit to add: I hated breeding spiders on the player owned farm and I don't like the spider pets I see in game. I can't manage to kill araxxor/araxxi but if I could I wouldn't go there after doing Morvran's challenge because...spiders! :( :(

A bite from a Huntsman spider is extremely rare, and they're not venomous either.
So lots of worse ones to deal with.

The creepiest thing about a Huntsman is probably the size. And the hair.

Fk that, I'd be outta there real quick. Screaming.

Same with the sofa except it'd be the sofa that'd be gone real quick. No way would I have a cockroach nest sitting in my living room.

Huntsman spiders are nasty buggers - they will drop and run at you. It certainly doesn't help that my cats like playing with them. >.<

With an infestation or a large nest of young ones (baby huntsman spiders are much smaller), mum must still be around. I would call pest control and let them work their magic.
