Your system files are probably corrupted or you have some other software issue.. Your calculator should be working. I've never had any problem like that, and windows 10 generally seems to function well.

Also, I have a question for you: is there a reason why you always end your sentences with an exclamation mark?
I was wondering the same.

To be honest, the only sane edition of Windows 10 is LTSC (Long Term Servicing Channel). It is being used in the enterprise where stability and reliability are the most important aspects of the machine. It is maintained for 10 years, like Windows 2000 did in its day.
The rest of the unwashed masses are forced by default to consume the crappy edition with bloatware, telemetry hell and buggy updates.
thank you for info, i'll have to grab a copy to fix this super slow laptop i'm using atm, been to busy working to rebuild my gamming pc

Unless you are associated with a big enterprise, you cannot buy Win 10 LTSC as an individual user - it is not for retail release.
Yup, consumers got the worst end of the stick, while enterprises are sitting pretty with their highly optimized Windows.

That's the problem isn't it, if a company withholds something that's good that is digital, sadly a group of people step in(hobbies to find it) <---i am strictly against this but it is my option B at times. i'll just donate some money to them, to microsoft not that group
Only issue with that version of windows 10, some say it doesn't have the store, which i need to get my nephew State of Decay 2 and other windows 10 only games(only reason i have to upgrade to it on my gamming PC
) but my computer will have 64gb ram ddr4/Ryzen 9 after it's rebuilt sometime this week, so maybe the bloatware won't affect me too much just using windowsdebloater and other tweaks. But....at the end of the day i do question how it's legal for microsoft to sell things then add things to slow them down.
^i should not be forced to download there BS, i just want security updates, it's like me selling you car and i come along and reinforce it with anti zombie traps. "dude you ruined the cars low weight with all this metal, remove it now" "no, buy another
"

Have you tried going into device manager and uninstalling the mouse then plug it back in?
OR do that for USB ports then restart computer?
try some of these, https://thegeekpage.com/fix-mouse-scroll-is-not-working-in-windows-10/
