Personally, I hate women's fashion. Give me a man's pair of jeans with 4 pockets and a tee shirt and I'm a happy camper.
Women's jeans are:
Too tight. I need room to move, bend over, squat, etc. without wondering if they are going to split...and they have many times.
Pocketless or too small. I need pockets that will hold my wallet (right back pocket), cigarettes and lighter (right front pocket) and pocket knife (left front pocket). My left rear pocket is for miscellaneous stuff. I figure, if I can't get it in 4 pockets, then I don't need it.
Not very sturdy. I'm a rough and ready type of woman. I don't mind getting down and dirty and grubble in the mud. Women's jeans just don't fit the bill for me.
Don't fit my body style. I'm long waisted. My waist is down on my hips, not halfway up my torso.
The main problem I have with men's jeans is leg length. I have a 28 inseam, which is impossible to find in the stores. I either have to buy them online or buy a pair from a store and cut them off to suit my length. I'm not a seamstress, so no hemming. If they start to unravel, I just cut off the loose strings.
Women's tee shirts are:
Cut too low, wide neck, short sleeves that are too short and sometimes too tailored. Give me a man's pocket tee shirt any day.
When I get "dressed up" I wear (guess)...usually colored or indigo jeans with a coordinated color tee shirt, occasionally, button down or snaps with a color coordinated tee shirt underneath.
I've dressed like this since my mid 20s and now I'm an old fart and dress the same. No, I'm not trying to present a male personification. I just think men's clothes are more practical.
