:O I've been using the same hairdresser for many years ( although I've had different stylists as they retire etc. ) and I've only ever left a tip at the end after I've paid the main amount. My wash,cut and blow dry currently costs me £32 + tip. It takes less than an hour. The stylist or junior washes my hair and they know I don't want conditioner. The stylist cuts and blow dries it. Maybe the one I use isn't posh enough for all the palaver but I like them and how they cut my hair.

Annoying stuff.. I'm turning into a grumpy old woman. Lol. The older I get the more the silly things annoy me. Like Fifi I can't stand the word hack being used when they mean tip/idea/hint. I suppose they want to sound edgy and up to the moment but imo it just makes them sound like they have a poor vocabulary. There are more things like that but I can't remember them at the moment.

@ Dong. That sounds like an impossible situation. Could he be doing that just to annoy you?

People who pick up their dog's mess in the little bags then leave the bag hanging off a fence/bush/whatever.

Although marginally better than leaving it on the path - why go to the effort of picking it up then hang it on a bush like some freaky christmas tree decoration?

Do they think the Dog Poo Fairy is going to come twinkling along in the night and remove these bags of rotting dog turds?

Bizarre - and annoying because in Summer there's hordes of flies and the smell is vile.

I don't relish having to stroll around with various bags of dog doodoo while I'm out walking mine but I wouldn't dream of decorating the countryside with faecal pendants.

I'll just +1 to this, i know what causes this and how to fix it etc but i see no point trying to....I honestly lost faith in people as it stands sadly.

I'd like to add.... delivery drivers who are using covid as an excuse to just dump stuff on your doorstep and consider it "delivered".

A couple of weeks ago I got an email informing me that my new rug had been delivered.
It was left in the car park near the entrance to my building.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

Shoes.

Now, I can understand 'fashion' shoes having paper-thin soles. They are designed to walk from the car/bus stop into the nightclub then stagger to the Kebab shop and into a taxi. They don't take much of a hammering, by and large.

And they usually cost not much from places like Next, River Island and similar young person retailers. But now they're all at it!

If I'm paying £50 for a pair of old hag's shoes to do my shopping in and generally wear for day to day pedestrian activity, I do believe I'm paying enough to get a sole on there which is thick enough to not be able to spit through after two wears.

There are no independent Cobblers anywhere near me so it's Timpsons or nothing. And they are the biggest rip-off merchants going.

Yet another example of sneaky, penny-pinching tactics by purveyors of apparel. Still, walking along with holes in my shoes will help take my mind off the friction burns in my armpits from the pisspoor T-shirt design I'm wearing, I suppose.

Yes I go with this one.

An Amazon delivery that came when I was out, and left ?? with a card through the door saying `parcel in bush in front of house`.

Maybe I will find it waterlogged and useless at some time in the future when I have done some severe pruning

and Fifi.... yes must admit that the quality of shoes now does leave a lot to be desired, but must give praise to some Clarks boring flat, leather black ones that I use for work that I must have had for two or three years now, and have never needed repair
