I like the kind of chocolate with cocoa power used in its manufacture. I also like chocolate's cousin without cocoa power but with only cocoa butter instead (white chocolate.)

I had been eating a lot of dark chocolate, but recently I have been enjoying milk chocolate again.

There are so many options with chocolate and none of them are bad!

Swiss. Always been Swiss and the darker the better.

Worried now though that Brexit may push the price up even higher. They're not part of the EU but have complicated trade agreements. No doubt it'll have some sort of effect.

Meh. I'll still find the pennies required to indulge. Anything rather than eat the filthy, greasy crap churned out in Poland or other parts of Europe and sold as 'Cadburys', or 'Terrys of York' (York? lmao)

19 years ago I was part of a internet group that were Brendan Fraser fans. (Don't judge me. It was a long time ago.) We were from all over the world and chatted daily.

One of my chat friends was from Oz and said she couldn't eat chocolate because she was addicted to it. She mentioned Tim Tams in particular and when I asked what they were, she sent me a box.

OMG! So yummy.

But, I couldn't get them anywhere. Not even online unless for a fortune.

Until today. When I was xmas shopping at the World Market and glanced down to see ... Tim Tams!!

I haven't eaten one yet. I'm kinda afraid they won't be as good as I remembered, lol. But they are chocolate covered chocolate cookies. So if you get a chance to try them, do.

Nice variety :)

I don't know much about Tim Tams, but I heard of a coconut lychee flavoured one which sounds fascinating to me. I can't find any locally and if I could they'd likely be expensive as you mention, but I'll keep an eye out for some (occasionally foreign chocolates and other things pop up in small packs for a fair price in things like pound/euro/dollar etc stores). If you got to trying them yet, hope you enjoyed them ^_^
