Are hurricanes typically a Autumn thing??

We have extreme winds and rains, as far as I can remember I've never experienced hurricanes, I can recall one bypassing my city. I feel America for some reason, maybe other countries too have extreme weather often; why does America have such extreme weather??

Hurricanes usually last mid summer to fall. And I suppose it only seems like there's more of the extreme weather because this place is so large. If Russia wasn't so far north and was more tropical it would probably experience similar weather events lol

I think it could also be because of the lay of the land. When you have large areas of flat land then extreme weather can continue to build up once hitting the land from the sea.

I know this is a simple way of explaining it.

^There is a lot more involved than this.

Every year the axis of the earth tilt increases a VERY an insignificant amount which could or could not be causing the effects which some might blame on global warming. Despite advances in science humans still do not know everything and are more often than not, flat out wrong. I can acknowledge climate change because the planet is more or less a living thing in the fact that its livable therefore the climate will alter over time but the words global warming is just... off putting. Something doesn't sound right about that for any number of reasons.

I'm ranting here, but one day out of the blue news clips or ads showing glaciers falling in to the ocean and words "global warming" just popped up out of nowhere and suddenly everyone started saying "It's hotter than usual" when it could just be that it's a different year, things likely won't be the same as any other year. At least that's my perspective. The seasons where I live are no different than they have been any other time. It's neither hotter nor colder therefore I can conclude that "global warming" is a sham. They will say oh there's more storms this year than there was last year, it must be that global warming! I'm like "No, it's just a different year." Okay I'm done with the rant lol.

Now back to the topic. why is there any tilt or rotation? Some blame meteors millions of years ago, some say aliens, others (Myself included) say it was by design, not a series of random events. It is that tilt, rotation, speed, distance from the sun, mass, etc. That help earth be habitable and it was literally all by design. You may feel different and you have the right to but I'm just saying what I think lol
Well I mean the average temperatures have gotten warmer. When I was a kid we used to get sleet and snow on the valley floor where I live quite often. Now we're lucky to get some rain and a little bit of frost.

@Dong yeah the land could do that so could the particular biome. Wetlands + humidity + hot air = more room for areas of low pressure = higher chance of storms.

@Jack I disagree because the average temperature where I live is exactly the same every year. I go on experience, not media or reports generated by folks who push global warming. Folks with an agenda will adjust the truth to fit their narrative.

It has snowed here a number of times over the past few years, the winters are FRIGID and the summers are still as hot as they've ever been. The climate today is exactly like it was 20 years ago.
