Well then ask people you know about the topic of gender if it still confuses you. I've never been confused about this topic, and wouldn't mind being a stay at home dad..if I became a dad.

Jeremy Cheng, I recommend that you edit your first post on this thread to remove the off-topic remark.

On topic, when I was a child in the 70s, my mother raised me with her societal norms, she learnt in the 1940's. My brother (a year younger than me) had a very different path through childhood. It made for interesting times as a teenager, when I rejected her and the wider family's norms/expectations.
