The Final in the UEFA Champions League Should be a good game too between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Yeah, that'll be a great game.
Liverpool are aiming for something that's never been done before, "The Quadruple"
Carabao Cup, Premiership title, FA Cup and Champions League.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?
Manchester United's players will have to suffer wage cuts due to the team's failure to qualify for next season's Champions League, according to reports.
The Athletic has claimed that many first-team stars have clauses in their contracts which would see their salary cut by 25% if the Red Devils do not reach Europe's premier club competition, although these reductions can be negotiated.
The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.
They can afford it, some of the top earners at United are receiving salaries in the region of £17 million a year. They'd have to cut back to just three or four new Lamborghinis a year
I've always thought that players should get performance-related pay, it would weed out the lazy ones who seem content (at the moment) to just turn up and walk around the pitch.
Obviously they'd still get a good basic salary but then bonuses for qualifying or even for domestic wins would be a great incentive.
