Totally agree, Women's football need a lot more promoting.
I caught the end of a game the other week... I forget who it was but two major clubs - playing on what looked like a practise ground with a tiny amount of supporters.

A good weekend from my perspective, United kept their first clean sheet at Old Trafford since April and beat Palace.

Right from the kick-off, Rangnick's influence could be seen - loads of hard work, lots of pressing... it was a joy to watch. The energy tailed off a little bit in the second half, but it was still a great result with Fred (of all people!) scoring the winner.

Fred has had ia lot of good moments this season, like both goals against Villareal the other week (Ronaldo and Sancho) both directly came about because of Fred's pressure. Obviously he's been involved in a couple of strange incidents and made mistakes as well, but I think you'll often struggle to sum up a game without mentioning his name for one reason or another.

Absolutely, nobody can ever doubt how much hard work he puts in, he's just a bit frustrating at times when he loses the ball and makes a bad pass.

I've always loved his attitude though.

He's definitely been improving for the last couple of games though and it was great to see him celebrating a goal yesterday.

Was just reading above, I'm personally not a fan of womens football at all...The standard is just too poor to be advertised how it is with these new Champions League comps etc, All a bit too much in my opinion as it'll never be the same nor bring in as much revenue as men's football. My daughter plays football and enjoys it which i'm all for, I just think the way they try to force it upon you recently is a little silly :P

- However, Great result vs Norwich for us yesterday...If we win our game in hand we are currently only 5 points behind Chelsea which isn't half bad considering only a month or so ago we was apparently in some crisis while West Ham and Arsenal were going onto bigger things, when we are above Arsenal and only a point or two behind West Ham...Obviously with a game in hand :P

Could be a good season for us if we invest next month, few big games coming this month too!

More Champions League tonight and I'm expecting United to field a load of their younger players and those who need more game time (Donny etc) as they've already guaranteed their place in the next round.

Atalanta vs Villareal was stopped due to heavy snow last night, so that's rescheduled for this evening, with the two teams competing for a second place finish.

As expected, United gave a lot of their up-and-coming young players a chance last night, including several first ever appearances, including Robbie Savage's son, Charlie.

1-1 was the result.
