I watched the England/Hungary game last night... good game but absolutely disgusted by the Hungary fans' behaviour - booing when England players knelt, racist chants and comments, throwing things (including a flare) onto the pitch.

Glad to hear FIFA are investigating it.

On a lighter note, Cavani has given up the number 7 shirt to Ronaldo!

Kneeling doesn't do anything, you are just humiliating yourself by doing that and I'm glad most nations disbanded that, even on EURO 2020. Pointless to the maximum.
On other hand, Hungary has ''extreme-right'' fan base on stadiums but they are not majority.
Their country (mostly Viktor Orbán) is usually against immigration as a whole so there's how that ''problem'' developed.

I agree that it's been going on for so long now that kneeling isn't making as much of a statement as it was at first... but they should still be able to do it without getting abuse.

Crazy thing is, UEFA insisted that Hungary games be played "behind closed doors" in the Euros, but as the World Cup is under FIFA, they didn't continue it.

I completely agree. Even if it's useless and pointless do it if you feel like it.
Hungarians will probably be punished, they need to see what happened so they can make conclusion.
If I was them I would stand and respect the opponent, not too hard.

France is arguably stronger and current world champions but they are not in best shape.
They already draw against Ukraine and Bosnia, both on home ground.
Ukraine lost coach recently so we will see how will that go but they should be just under France in this group so I would imagine they will put on a solid performance tonight, we will see what can new coach bring as he was just appointed, like 15 days ago or so.
