Been thinking of a next tattoo, and I have a vague idea.

I kind of want to get a tattoo of a raven bound in chains, holding an hourglass in its talons.

Raven because I simply like them and think they're cool, but deeper meaning being a reflection of myself. Ravens traditionally depict 'darkness', and I feel like a lot of my tastes (be it music, film, art, whatever) tends to gravitate towards darker kind of subjects, but in my everyday life, I tend to hide those things (hence the chains) in order to appear "normal" to appease everybody. Hourglass is more of a reminder to myself that I don't have forever, and that I need to stop hiding my true self from people.

Have the appointment set for the 4th next month. Super excited for this one.

It's going to be a full forearm piece on the inside of my right forearm, with the head starting at about the elbow, and the hourglass going down to my wrist area.

for me i have had more of my head tattooed. but no pictures as of yet

That sounds super neat. I want to get a raven myself, more or less to represent my sister. She really likes those birds lol

You should do it! Raven tattoos look so cool, haha
