I had Betrayal at Falador at one point. I never got to finish it. :( It really made me think that the RS map should be made a loooot bigger considering in the book it was like what, a day's travel to the statue of Saradomin outside the city gates?



On topic though, I'm currently reading Game of Thrones, yeah, that one.

Also started Bright We Burn by Kiersten White.

I just started reading the Manheim translation of Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler.

I haven't been able to find an online copy of the original Nazi English translation, but I'll probably read the a few of the other translations that I've come across(such as Murphy's and Ford's), since they're all slightly different and I want to get as complete of an interpretation of the original as I can.

Obviously, "Mein Kampf : A Translation Controversy" is a somewhat required reading if you're not reading the original German version of the book.

It's an important historical piece of literature, written by one of the most prominent and greatest influences of the 20th century.

I haven't made it too far into the book, I'm still in the chapters about his early years in life. It's taking me a bit longer than it normally would to read a book, but I keep flipping between different versions just to see the differences in the translations. I'm better than you, but that doesn't mean you're not great! :)

Hoping Gavin Deas does another Empires book. They really did a great job at portraying aliens so advanced they can literally destroy planets. Low chance unfortunately, the books were so low profile they only got 5 rating on goodreads which publishers aren't happy about.

On page 292 of legacy of blood. Interesting description of rune armor, apparently so strong that steel weapons don't even affect the wearer at all. In return to canifis, the potions mentioned are guthix balance against the wyrd and regular strength potion. The weak blood guy in legacy of blood drinks zamorak brew.

If I buy all my may and june books in june then its around 78 dollars including tax. If I like what I see, then I just may do this so I can buy all of patrick lee's books in june.

On page 412 of legacy of blood. Revenants were introduced as ghosts that can't be harmed by most weapons. No mention of revenantbane of course and sadly no mention of the chaos elemental. Hopefully supernaturals II comes out on mass market paperbound this year, im not paying $40 even for david.

Just finished legacy of blood. Interesting how strength amulet increases your strength and speed to werewolf levels and i think warrior ring was worn by king roald but it was never named so not sure.

Picked up semper mars and earth strike. Now I'm reading earth strike.

Just picked up my order of galactic corps, semper human, star strike, star corps, battlespace, star marines and europa strike. Surprised that the last 4 books came early even though I didn't get an email for them. But pleasantly surprised and satisfied. I'm so close to completing ian douglas, just need to buy center of gravity, singularity and deep space. I won't reread deep time since I already know the humans beat the aliens in that book.

Just bought winter of the gods and olympus bound by jordanna max brodsky. Now I need to buy the wolf in the whale to complete her, and buy center of gravity, singularity and deep space to complete ian douglas. I thought about preordering thunderhead by neal shusterman, but I think I might just wait till its in stock on june 4th depending on what happens two wednesdays from now.
