A dry and very hot day is on the cards with ample amounts of sunshine on offer. A few high clouds may develop later but not enough to impede the sunshine. Sea breezes developing to make coastal locations slightly cooler. Maximum temperature 32 °C.

I read an article our city last week only had 6 minutes of sunshine recorded for that whole week
It was a very wet week
Yesterday was very nippy, felt like it was snowing somewhere. Today @1.17am it's still cold, can't hear any wind, it seems very still and dry.
It's later in the day now, near midday - it's cold, damp, darkish, gloomy. I have recently turned on the heater but my legs are still feeling icy and my back too.
When you say 'the heater' what do you mean? Do you have central heating in NZ (generally speaking) or do you guys use room-by-room free standing type heaters? Just curious.
