should advertisement of liquor products become illegal?
tobacco companies cant advertise their products, so why should the brewery and distillery companies.
also I think there should be a huge tax on alcoholic drinks since there is one on cigarettes.
a 250ml bottle of beer should cost about 10 dollars at least.
Smoking any amount of tobacco products can impact health negatively, whereas alcohol if consumed within safety guidelines does not impact health in the same way as tobacco does.
So there is the reason why they have different rules.
Remember Caz. Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

this will clamp down on the drinking rate.
It depends on where you live. In Nova Scotia, Canada, more than 50% of the price of alcohol is tax. And no, it doesn't affect the drinking rate whatsoever. We have one of the highest drinking rates in the country.

Alcohol isn't all that innocent, either. Every drink you take (as in swallow) it destroys millions of brain cells. Fortunately, not all in one spot. However, if you drink enough, as in heavy drinkers or alcoholics, enough brain cells can be destroyed in one area to effect the part of the body that area of the brain controls. It can make you blind, deaf, cause tremors (treatable but no cure), uncontrollable oral sounds, etc. It can make your heart stop, destroy your liver...well you get the picture. Doesn't matter in what capacity the alcohol is delivered (beer, wine, "the hard stuff"
, it's still destructive.
Side note: When my Mom was around 8 years old, her father (my Grandfather) was a rum runner for the Chicago Mafia during the Prohibition. He had been caught a few times, so when he had a big delivery of rum, he took his wife and my Mom with him to make it look like they were out for the evening. He was stopped, anyway. He and his wife (my Grandmother...so prim and proper, she was) was put in jail and my Mom lived with relatives.
