@Li thi um google them they look so emo (they wear so much black it's obvious), and their lyrics (especially the ones to my immortal) are so dark and emo ·

That's extremely judgemental. Although they may have a slightly 'dark' sound, that doesn't make them emo. They DO have happy songs, you know. Don't judge a book by its cover.
Just because My Immortal is a sad song doesn't mean its emo. Plenty of other bands make sad songs.
They aren't gothic either, Amy herself denied that, and they are certainly NOWHERE near emo.
Do a bit of research or listen to a few of their songs...

no way you know evanescence better than i do.
if they kill sum1 they can say theyre not killers but we all know they are, even if they save a lot of ppl before that theyre still killers.
so if they sing emo songs they are emo even if they say theyre not, they can sing other music too anyways but theyre still emo.
theyre defined by their acts not by what they say.
