Legendary rocker Meat Loaf has died aged 74

His 1977 debut album 'Bat Out of Hell' is still one of the biggest-selling albums in US history (14m copies sold), and his music inspired a generation.

I didn't realise he was over 70. As soon as I saw the news I had his voice singing Bat out of Hell running through my mind. A music legend who will be missed. RIP

This ruined my day when I found out this morning. What a larger than life presence, what a larger than life voice. The world has lost an icon.
