Thankfully no damage or injuries were reported as far as I am aware - not sure how as the Earthquake felt horrific at my end, not so much as strong, just very long, it just kept going longest earthquake I'd ever felt. I was so worried for the people near the centre. I'm just grateful there was no casualties.
Apparently there we three earthquakes this morning, the highest in the low 8 on the Richter scale and the other two were low 7s on the Richter scale. The earthquake I felt apparently went for 4 minutes
longest I've ever experienced - it felt like it was never ending and I was at the other end of the country.
I just read an article that was download around 50 minutes ago, so very fresh of the press - the tsunami warning has been lifted. No damage, no casualties.

Stay safe, a series of quakes especially an 8.1 in the scale is not a joke https://www.livescience.com/magnitude-8-earthquate-new-zealand-tsunami-warning.html
I can still vividly remember when the whole world witnessed the 2004 Tsunami disaster in Asia and the 2011 Japanese earthquake.
