Thankfully no damage or injuries were reported as far as I am aware - not sure how as the Earthquake felt horrific at my end, not so much as strong, just very long, it just kept going longest earthquake I'd ever felt. I was so worried for the people near the centre. I'm just grateful there was no casualties.
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

Apparently there we three earthquakes this morning, the highest in the low 8 on the Richter scale and the other two were low 7s on the Richter scale. The earthquake I felt apparently went for 4 minutes :O longest I've ever experienced - it felt like it was never ending and I was at the other end of the country.

I just read an article that was download around 50 minutes ago, so very fresh of the press - the tsunami warning has been lifted. No damage, no casualties.

I can still vividly remember when the whole world witnessed the 2004 Tsunami disaster in Asia and the 2011 Japanese earthquake.

The series of events last Friday are considered so rare, most tsunami scientists "cannot recall any similar examples".:
