I tried Ballast Point's Victory at Sea Imperial Porter tonight, and I'm sad to say it's the first Ballast Point beer I've tried that I haven't really liked. It has a pretty overpowering bitter coffee taste (I guess that's to be expected coming from an imperial porter). There was definitely a bit of a vanilla taste to it, but it wasn't enough to counteract the intense bitter coffee taste. You should take my opinion at face value though considering I don't like coffee much at all, but it was just too strong on the front end with coffee for me to really enjoy.

WELLLL one decent reason is because cheap & "watery" beers are great for drinking games, since they let you play a ton of rounds. Sometimes the game is more fun than the beer, ya know?
.

Drinking games = Vodka or Tequila for me and my friends x.x Beers just a nice in between to keep the alcohol flowing lol.

I'm pretty sure Bell's has a nationwide distribution, because they're from Michigan and I get all their beers here in Southern California. I just tried Oberon for the first time a few days ago, and the description was right on point. Definitely a great summertime ale. It had such a relaxing kind of taste (that sounds weird but idk how else to describe it) that it almost made me want to just slump down in a chair outside in the shade or something.

Wow, I actually had no idea! I guess they're a bigger brewery than I originally thought. Glad you enjoyed both Oberon and the Porter! :D

The list has been updated again to include the beers listed since my last update.

I love Sam Adams Octoberfest and Corona. I have also been enjoying Angry Orchards Summer Honey recently though....
Sam Adams Octoberfest has to be their best beer imo. I've had Angry Orchards before, but not the Summer Honey. I'll have to try it.
