I'm really into my Chinese beers - Tsing Tao is my favourite. Chinese beers have rice in them and it makes them slightly sweet.

I'm also a fan of Peroni, really smooth but slightly bitter.

Marstons: Pedigree, Double Drop, Oyster Stout

York Brewery: Centurions Ghost, Yorkshire Terrier, Guzzler

Theakstons: Old Peculier, XB, Light Foot

Wychwood (Pretty sure owned by Marstons): Hobgoblin, Scarecrow, Goliath, W**hcraft

And the greatest brewery chain there is:

Sam Smiths: Old Brewery, Sovereign Bitter

Those are the ones I buy if I'm at the shops usually, and if I'm out I drink whatever they got. Sadly some pubs don't sell stuff other than what they are told to in which case I usually settle for a generic lager, john smiths or guinness.

I can see it being a party beer but I'd rather have platinum or something lol, it's still light but not that light and is still on the relatively cheap side

Side note, amg congratulations to both of you! Was there a mass unbanning or did you have to email them?

@Chinese beers have rice in them and it makes them slightly sweet.

Oh wow, I'd be open to giving that a try. Definitely something different!

On-topic part so this post isn't totally irrelevant to the thread, to be on the careful side: Beer in a can is a no-no, too metallic.

Slightly off-topic: "Was there a mass unbanning or did you have to email them?"

I emailed and thankfully they accepted it.

I'm probably not old enough to appreciate fine beers/ales whatever.

I'm also not old enough to buy alcohol in the UK, (pls can a Belgian adopt me please?) so I pretty much drink what I can get. A favourite of mine would be Krone**ourg, but again I have to take what I can get and don't have room to be fussy. Dad's a big cider drinker and only really has San Miguel in the house as far as beer goes so in the worst case scenario I siphon a few of those off.

As for bottles v cans - bottles win, but the age issue arises again in the sense that I [/criminal ahhh] can only convince people to buy me a certain number of bottles/cans at a time so a 500ml can has to be favourable to a measly 330ml bottle.
