My latest real ale sample:
Batemans Brewery, Lincolnshire
"Dark Lord"
Brewed to commemorate 'Black Tom' who fought in the English Civil War at the Battle of Winceby.
It's a very dark ale (Ruby actually), strong taste and 5% vol. Very nice but you couldn't spend all evening swilling it!
