My favorite so far seems to be Trader Joe's IPA, though I haven't had a beer for awhile. I prefer red wine - specifically merlot or malbec.
I tried to buy a couple beers from a cooler from a local brewery called Scuttlebutt, but despite showing the prices and clearly having a cooler that had boxes of beer for sale, the insanely rude girl informed me that they couldn't "break down the boxes" and I had to either buy an entire box, or go to the bar for a glass. Ok, *****, but you see that sign there that says clearly $2/bottle and buy 2, get 1 free? Should I have not assumed I could purchase beer by the bottle? Well, don't put signs up there that say that! In fact, just hide your ******* beer and pretend you're a cafe. Because obviously you weren't in a rush to sell it or let me sample. I put down the bottles and left.
Sorry... Rant rant. Just ****** me off when I remembered.

@Wizard I admit, I do enjoy Mikes Hard Lemonade from time to time. It is quite delicious. :P
@Poultry I like wine as well, typically when I'm having an Italian dinner or something similar. That's weird the cashier wouldn't let you buy the beer even when it was advertised. Lets hope she doesn't keep her job much longer. :P

I've heard of Mogwai but never really gave them a listen
I like Tortoise, Sigur Ros, and Boards of Canada
I think those are slightly similar. Kind of laid back Post Rock'ish, ambient'ish stuff.
Then again the reason I think they are similar is only from seeing their name pop up in links, etc. They might not even be slightly similar.
Now that I think of it they've also been compared to My Bloody Vaneltine a lot too.
