Most of you probably won't remember this, but people used to take the bottle tops of Grolsh lager and tie them to their shoe laces. A bit sad really.
I was in a bar last Month and it sold Bananabread beer, had to try it, wish I hadn't.

Sorry to say, ChillWithUs, but imo Miller High Life and Samuel Adams just has a horrible taste, but that's just me and I'm sure others may share your interests. I'll share with you some of my preferences though if you'd like to read further and maybe comment on what I have to say =).
I have many types of favorite beverage. When just budget drinking for a party just to get everyone a good buzz I'd have to say Natural Light is my beer of choice. When we want to drink a high dollar beer its Budweiser all the way. For a real treat Smirnoff Ice is on the menu. Now for the absolute best high dollar beverage for my group of friends which isn't actually beer it's Margaritas! The best drink ever!
Margarita: Tequila, Triple Sec, and a sweetened lime mixture garnished with lime wedges. Or for the classic margarita there is no added sugar at all - the mix is replaced with fresh squeezed limes - 1 part fresh lime juice to 3 parts water, and some extra limes of course to garnish with more lime wedges. The best drink ever!
A salty dog is pretty good too. Vodka, grapefruit juice, and a dash of salt.
Lot's of things are good with Vodka: Orange juice, cranberry juice, or grapefruit juice without the added salt. Yummy.
I'd love to try some honey mead but never had any. Too bad absinthe is no longer available as I've heard good things about it.
I also brew my own wine with professional wine chemicals and fresh fruit =). 2-3 Months minimum is typically how long I let it secondarily ferment and age after removing the fruit pulp from the primary which lasts about the first week to 10 days. It is indistinguishable from store bought =). For anyone of LEGAL drinking age I have extensive knowledge of this art. However unfortunately I cannot discuss such a matter on Runescape because it is probably against the rules unless someone could inform me otherwise.

@Maskyn I haven't heard of Grolsch but I do enjoy Corona and Desperado a bit. :P
@Quit Sadly, I do not remember that. :|
@Rattle I agree with you on the Miller High Life. I had some not too long ago and it wasn't what I remembered, it had almost like a metalic taste to it which I was not a fan of. As for Samuel Adams, I used to prefer that only with food because the taste is so strong. Now, I've kind of grown into it and the taste isn't so bad.
A party beer for me would be Bud Light Lime. I drink a few more beers because it is light but I love the taste and I usually prefer parties in the summer, Bud Light Lime is perfect for the summer. Also, like you said, Smirnoff Ice is very good. It reminds me more of like a candy in a bottle and it is a nice treat to have from time to time.
All of those mixed drinks you discussed sound great. I have had a few margarita's in my life and they were good as well as a few scredriver's (vodka/orange juice). I remember last summer I went on vacation and I had a few screwdriver's and long island iced tea's pool side (not all in one day, of course!) and it was amazing.
As for the wine, this would be something I have always wanted to try. I've always thought it would be kind of cool to grow my own fruits for the wine and make it all from scratch. It would be neat to open a bottle of my own wine I made from scratch at a dinner or party or something. :P
Thanks for sharing your alcohol preferences. It's always nice to read all these comments on here and see everyone's beer/drink of choice. ^_^
