Had the Brown Shugga' Ale from Lagunitas for the first time tonight, and it's so, so good. It's a big beer, coming in at 9.8% ABV, but it hides the alcohol well. It's pretty sweet, but that's to be expected by the name and the fact it's a "Sweet Release", but the nice thing is that it has a bit of a nice hop backbone to perfectly balance the sweetness.

The beers of the RSOF (in alphabetical order)

I read that as "The beers of Runescape", which made me curious..

I wonder what the real life equivalent of many of the ales in Runescape would be. Any ideas?

Just some, in my opinion:

Keg of beer ---> Brewmeister Snake Venom ( drink at your own risk O_o )
Dwarven stout ---> Witte Klavervier Joppenbier
Ranger's aid ---> Corona
Asgarnian Ale ---> Budweiser Budvar Pale
Tankard of beer ---> Carlsberg
Dragon bitter ---> Red Dragon Extreme ( God, this beer is awful :@ )
Leveling +110 all skills and completing stuff here and there

I tried out Michelob Ultra recently at a family gathering. I know people call stuff like Coors Light water, even though I personally like it, but Michelob Ultra is the true water beer.

Dude, thanks for that! Just saved me from purchasing it. If it's even lighter than Coors Light in taste then I'll pass.

That's actually a really interesting question, I think Igerna and Agalloch are both on the right track!

I picked up a bomber of Stone's Enjoy By 02.14.16 Unfiltered IPA a few days ago, and it had been bottled just 4 days prior to me picking it up. By far the freshest bottled beer I've ever had. And damn, talk about a hop bomb, that beer was incredible.

Ive recently tried a root beer flavored beer from a company called Not Your Fathers Root beer. Pretty good actually. My father-in-law suggested it for my husband since he doesn't like the taste of alcohol and he seems to like it :)
