I'd have louiellen in my offhand for the sacrifice (just throw her to the zombies innit). Main hand would probably be some kind of axe or whatever Rick Grimes would use from The Walking Dead
Sure, just buy me this: https://armstreet.com/store/armor/medieval-knight-gothic-plate-armour-kit (jeez, why are these kinds of stuff super expensive?)
Then I'll ready to smack zombies dead. I'll even fight Nemesis.

Uhm...the zombies are already banging on your door and breaking the windows. I hope you have your suit of armor ready.

Let's flip a coin; heads I win, tails you lose. Fair enough?
Several knives and guns are to my right and to my left is a door and a set of snares. I'd say I would survive le zombies.
@Louiellen, I'd recommend getting gambison, it can stop even sword strikes and it weighs less + more maneuverability. Nothing but advantages over regular metal armor.

Zombies want to eat human flesh, that's their only goal for ever existing. If you are wearing tough armor, that's enough not to get bitten.
indeed the one thing i always find annoying in zombie shows is the fact they dont protect themselves in simple ways
even just making a suit of armour out of cardboard would be a huge help in being bitten by a rotting corpse with little muscle mass.
but obviously if that was to be the case there would be no show to watch so i let it go.
I have an angle poised desk lamp to my right, which might have been useful for a temporary blinding effect had the bulb not been a low watt, energy saving, not particularly bright one, but to my left I do have a cup of Horlicks in very hot milk which if all else fails might send them to sleep

I never thought of that, but you're right. However, this is about what's at your right hand and left hand. One is going to mail order armor providing his credit card is right or left and his phone or keyboard is in the opposing hand. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for the armor to arrive. Do you think you can stave off the zombies that long? If it comes by UPS will the driver be able to get through the horde of zombies?
The cardboard armor is OK, I suppose, providing you have enough cardboard near your right or left hand and the scissors or knife to cut it nearby. How long will it take you to make the armor and be assured that every part of your body is covered?
Perhaps, you need to put a King size blanket by your side, put it over you and hunker down.

We all need some advice about how to combat Zombies, so this gets stickied for the week!
I've got an iPhone to my right but I don't think it's much use calling for helps, so I'll smoke the zombies out and create a diversion with my vaping thingy which is just to my left.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

Having some armor albeit "home-made" is better than nothing. Besides, what are the parts of the body that are usually bitten by the undead? Limbs of course, so you try to protect those first.
