Had sautted sprouts tonight along with our supper. Sautted them with some EVOO, a bit of garlic, shallots, pancetta. Then drizzled them with a bit of ten year old balsamic.

That sounds awesome. Also yummy. I must try that.

I haven't had fresh sprouts in years. I get the canned and fry them.
My G'mother used to fry up a couple pieces of bacon until they were crisp. Cut the sprouts in half and fry in the grease. Just before serving, she would crumble the bacon over the top.

There's no way I could eat 15 sprouts unless they were small ones. We had 8 on our plates with other veggies. I wanted to get sprouts still on the stalk ( I think they keep better ) but there weren't any in the shop I went to.
