News of the World.
Tom Hanks starring in this Western but it doesn't follow the usual fare dished up by this genre.
Quite low key and rather melancholy.

Big fan of Tom Hanks and not averse to a bit of melancholy so I'll add this to my list,

I watched the Monster Hunter movie. I wish I hadn't. It's a god awful movie, and a terrible adaptation of one of my favourite video game series.

I haven't seen that yet... and judging by the reviews I'll probably give it a miss. :P

I finished the John Wick trilogy last night and I'm aiming to watch another trilogy over the weekend - The Millennium Trilogy , aka
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
, etc. (the originals, not the laughable remakes)

Last night I watched Bad Boys for Life

I wasn't sure if it'd be any good, being so long since the last one, but it's really entertaining :)
Lots of jokes about the "boys" being older and looooaaaaads of action sequences.

I just finished watching a film called The Humanity Bureau starring Nicholas Cage. The end was a bit of a shock but I enjoyed it. I've now started watching Bohemian Rhapsody which I've wanted to see ever since it came out. It just became available on Amazon Prime.

Been watching a few different series of late.

We watched season 5 of Outlander , which is still going strong. My girlfriend and I both loved it, and thought it was one of the best seasons yet. Still shocking how good the show is compared to how corny and silly we expected it to be. Definitely worth a watch if you're at all interested in historical type content, though this one is admittedly a bit unique even then. It's available on Netflix; not sure about other streaming platforms.

Been watching season 13 of RuPaul's Drag Race and season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK , as both are airing weekly right now. Both shows are pretty great this season, with strong casts of queens that you can easily love and love to hate. Very enjoyable stuff. Both are available on Crave if you're got that; it seems Netflix dropped the show recently for some reason, which is a big loss for them to be honest.
